Red Elephant has good food, great service and reasonable prices. However, the property itself is in desperate need of maintenance and repair. It starts in the parking lot, (which I know is the owner’s responsibility), where you have to dodge at least 6-7 BIG and deep potholes before you can park, the kind of potholes that can damage your car! The restaurant itself is shabby, torn seating, (some rips covered with tape), desperately in need of fresh paint and new carpet and bathrooms in shambles. Dispensers are broken and falling off the walls, and TP is found in only one stall. The bathroom is far from clean. The lack of maintenance is visible throughout the restaurant. There is a mounted TV which appears to be broken (for years). If it’s broken, replace it or remove it!!
I’m sorry to give such a poor review, but people don’t like to eat in such a mess! PLEASE take care of this or RE will be out...
Read moreRed Elephant has always been one of my unique and favorite places to eat for about 10 years. I live in Panama City and ever since we lost our local Red Elephant there we make it a habit to go to this Tallahassee location every time we visit family. The pizza is just fantastic. The pepperoni is the best I've ever had on a pizza, the sauce is not too sweet and just right, and the crust/bread is definitely an acquired taste but given the chance it will become one of your favorites too!
My wife loves spinach and artichoke dip but says this one is more "thick" than she prefers. The loaded fries are great, fries remind me of the new KFC fries with the crispy outside and soft inside. All in all, if you haven't tried it, it's worth seeing if it's going to become a new favorite for you and your family.
To the owner... please consider reopening a Panama City Location! We...
Read moreRed Elephant gives national restaurants like Friday's and Applebee's a run for their money. Not only does Red Elephant have amazing pizza, but their other menu items are equally as good: fresh, fun salads, seafood options like grilled salmon or mahi, healthy choices such as steamed broccoli or grilled chicken, crispy pita chips with hummus, and juicy burgers. What I like is that the menu has just enough variety without having an overwhelming amount of items to choose from. You can tell the place is managed well, because the service is always top notch. It's well-run, which is essential for a place that is really busy, especially on weekends. It's very family-friendly too, with a game room for the kids and a kids' menu that has a good variety. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. The atmosphere is fun and lively, the place is clean. I've been impressed...
