Shrimp Stop — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I am only writing this to share my experience and in hopes that the lovely lady who owns it will make better choices.

I went their in the this week and ordered Mullet. I was excited as that is one of my go to options for seafood, even out of season if fresh. Unfortunately it was not fresh at all and in fact was at least 3-4 days old. I am very picky about my seafood (clear eyes only at Mike's Seafood) and was hoping this nice Southside spot where Henry's used to be would do the trick. Not this time.

Again the lady there was lovely and knew how to cook the fish but they took the risk and gave me old seafood. It wasn't quite spoiled but not far from it. Also the hush puppies were uneventful and not much flavor and gummy. Everything else was fine like the place itself.

I ask that you make better choices and people will return. I will not be back until I know the food is better quality.

I ordered a jumbo shrimp with fries and two hush puppies and a red velvet cake slice with a Coke through doordash. I received everything but the red velvet cake but in place of the cake I was given five shrimp and a small container. I have tried to call y'all several times today but no one answered no one will pick up poor service. The hush puppies with dry and hard but the shrimp was good in the tartar sauce was good. I know y'all are busy but let's be a little bit more professional and respond because when people pay their money for service they expect service let's be...

When I got home I realized I left it at the Shrimp Stop. I immediately returned back when I walked in the young lady behind the counter stated she recognized me from the local station, and she called the station trying to reach me to let me know I had left my credit card, I noticed she placed my credit card in a very secured area.
