We are driving across the United States beginning on the Washington Oregon border and now we are down to Florida. Almost every day, when available, we have a Sonic Blast. A blast is soft serve ice cream with your choice of a good number of candy bars and cookies and flavorings stirred in. We ordered a blast from the first Sonic we came to on Highway 90. Having consumed more than 50 of these over the months of our trip, everywhere else has added a generous amount of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups stirred in to the ice cream. We were so disappointed that there was only a very minimal amount of peanut butter cups, 90% of which was deposited on the top of the ice cream. Therefore, we stopped at the second Sonic, this one on Monroe Street, to complain and to get a new blast. It turns out that both of these Sonic stores made the blasts just the same, using minimal amounts of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I feel bad that I complained about the first blast because the second one was exactly the same. The difference is that blasts made in other states have a generous amount of the peanut butter cups throughout the ice cream. The Tallahassee stores do not. I apologize to this particular outlet because I assume they were instructed to use just a dusting of the candy since it came out just the same as the other Sonic...
Read moreI have gone to this one multiple times and the service was alright but the last three times I have gone by there, the service was absolutely terrible. I went by 10 minutes before close one night for just a soda and they told be they were already closed for the night. The next night, went by two hrs before close for a milkshake they were cleaning the machine... During it's happy hour, 1/2 price shakes?! Seriously. Well, one night they weren't cleaning the machine and they took 30 minutes to make the shakes, gave us the wrong ones the first time, and wrong sizes, although the person at the window had repeated the order to me when I paid and had also had the ticket for the shake in front of her but told me she had the wrong drinks when they were handed to me. I spoke very clearly to her about what drinks we had gotten and repeated to her many times over and still.... Nothing. Vacant look on her face... It is more logical to go to that location because it is closer to my house, but I will drive the extra 15 minutes to the other one near the corner of Capital Circle and West Tn if it means getting the right order the first time, and not dealing with people who don't want to do there job....
Read moreThis is the worst place that I have ever been. It used to be a favorite, but now it's not worth my money. I keep giving them chances but today was the last. The last few times that I have been there; I've pulled into a spot to order and wait 15-20 minutes with the red light going off. I finally go to the drive through and that's a 5-10 minute wait. Then I get to the window and it's a 10 minute wait and I'm told to pull up and they will bring it out. Now, ig they eye busy, waiting is no problem, but there's one customer in line ahead of me and none out front. When I was there about 3 weeks ago, I ordered a large slush and was given a small. I asked for it to be corrected and the guy argued with me. I finally drove off. Today, I get the pretzel twist. 1 pretzel broken in half and hard, no cheese to go with it. I also got the cheese peppers, the cheese inside of them was hard and nasty and some didn't even have peppers. My sons burger was OK. So, I paid $27 for 2 slushes and a burger, because the rest was not edibale. I will not go back. There used to be an elderly gentleman there a few younger people and it was great. Now the people in there fight and...
