Outrageously terrible management from the store to corporate hq. I was in tallahassee, at this Starbucks location. I stumbled with my walker for over a football field length to get just a large cup of coffee. I am a retired, 21 year, multiple combat veteran. 100% disabled. All I wanted was a coffee. The store doors were locked but a little tiny sheet of paper said the drive thru was open. So, determined for my Starbucks coffee I put my walker and me in the drive thru line and stumbled my way to the window. There were no cars in front of me and no cars behind me. It was an empty lot. I had to use my walker to get there because my car broke down 5 minutes earlier. The person that said they were the manager was a very young girl that started the conversation extremely RUDE. She was wearing a name tag that said Derrick, when I asked if that was her name, she very abruptly took the name tag off and threw it on the counter. I asked for her name but she wouldn't give it to me. The mechanic fixed my car and now I am on my way to Circkl K to get a cup of coffee! The solution to this is: train your managers for obstacles because from my experience they have NO humane thought process. Make them wear the appropriate name tags, she was offended when I called her by the name on her tag. If someone wants to buy a cup of coffee, figure out how to sell it to them. That's basic business management, get managers that know that kinda stuff. Not teenie bopper that are just figuring out how to wear their hair. That gets in the way of leadership, from my experience. The picture posted is me sitting in my walker, totally exhausted and only wanted a cup of coffee to make my day a lil' better. I got to sit there for over an hour waiting to regain my strength to stumble back to my car WITHOUT A CUP OF COFFEE. Ty Starbucks

Well, the young and bubbly employee handling drive-thru orders was kind without being robotic & sweet without sounding insincere.
Knocked off a star because they were out of a bunch of stuff, which is fine, I wouldn't knock 1 off normally for that. However, the person helping us just blanket statement said they don't have any breakfast-related items available. But... all I wanted was a croissant and any cheese available. I don't eat eggs so the menu options normally available I didn't want anyway. Very simple and I know Starbucks can easily accommodate this. And they had both these items. So... why not sell it to me? Charge me for the egg sandwich if you must, I don't care (for reference I also order this same sort of off menu item at Dunkin' Donuts everytime without issue).
This may seem wrong to some, but me knocking off a star for the almighty Starbucks on a single order won't effect them in the slightest, so I did it anyway. Starbucks prides itself on it's customer service, and rightfully so.
Please, if this is a computer issue, get your coders on that. If it's employee-based, teach them how. If it's management, well that's just silly, you're losing money. And no matter what, if you have it and I'm willing to pay extra for ingredients I was going to request not be in there in the first place, why is this even happening?
Food for thought (though no food for me...
Read moreHmm, this Starbucks has consistently been the most inconsistent one with me and the one I typically have problems at. It looks nice on the inside and is decent enough to meet up at. However, I often find myself having issues with the drinks. I don't mind a Starbucks running out of stuff. It happens and I've been there. I don't even mind if you find out you ran out of something and have to ask me if I want to adjust my drink. What I do mind is paying for something, given something subpar and missing ingredients and no one saying anything unless I notice and call them out on it. This makes me feel cheated and like they were trying to sneak one by me. Maybe it isn't fair because I can recognize these things having previously worked for Starbucks but communication goes a long way. Furthermore, this has happened on several occassions and there usually isn't an effort to fix it or adjust my drink. Occassionally, I'll even get a rude or apathetic remark. Again it is a decent Starbucks but communication goes a long way and this repeated mistake means I have to rank it lower than...
