Good luck not finding the beer you're looking for. We came in and Matt (manager) handily served up our requested San Miguel AND Magner's.

Chock-full of character. You can't fake this. One doesn't just dropped $50 Gs and recreate this patina. It is entirely earned.

Every town has its "Hospitality Watering Hole" - The Leon Pub serves as TLHs.

For you smokers and would-be smokers out there - this place welcomes you with the tobacco haze you're seeking. For me, it's too much - but I recognize it's part of the deal.

This one is really a sub-section of #2 above, but it's important to spike out that this is the ultimate dive-bar experience in TLH. If Dive is what you seek - then dive on in here. It's unrivaled.

I wanted to like the place, because I love dive bars. However the garbage piles of broken bar stools and unusable pool tables along with the stale (think basement smell) air kind of take over when you walk in. Bartender was friendly, and a good selection of bottled and canned beer. Not much for draft beers. Not the cheapest place either considering the environment. My favorite bar in Tallahassee! The Leon Pub has one of the best selections of bottled beer anywhere in Tallahassee, including all my favorites from Germany and around the world. The atmosphere is fun, with a range of ages represented and welcoming to all. The pool tables are always in use and there are darts and foosball in the back room. But as a dive beer, expect fewer sorority girls, and a lot more cigarette smoke.
