Ok so can someone please explain to me why In the world has taken them 37 minutes to prepare a single burrito with meat and cheese and 2 two stack tacos with beef only. I was patient. I kept looking at my phone waiting. I patiently asked about it and the gentlemen that was in the front kindly said that it my order was going to be next. Well 15 minutes passed and they were taking out orders even from people that were ordering behind me. The only difference was that I was not Caucasian looking and all of them that ordered were. The only non Caucasian people were the 2 employees in the front with green shirts, me that had a beard (Spanish looking) and two other customers. All of them got their food and I still had to wait 37 minutes for a single burrito and 2 tacos. Are we going back to the days that non whites were just left without any service or discriminated against. I feel like this place didn't value me at all. That all got their food . I was patient and still was just given an excuse that they just received a lots of orders, I asked the manager what about the people after me that they ordered and they have their food. What they get to have the food and not me. He just shrugged and started to mumble.
What's wrong with this place ! Never again and I don't recommend it for nothing in the world. It's crazy that a place that fixes TexMex food (predominantly Spanish food) be treating me (a non white person) like this. We should all be treated equal . I don't ask for special accomodations or non of that. I see myself equal to everyone else no matter what race are you. Apparently they don't. They lost my business here. At least in this location of Mahan next to the Goodwill...

The restaurant seemed in pretty good condition, except for one of the outlets on the wall to the right when you come in had duct tape around it. it looked like it had been there for quite some time. Not sure why electrician hasnât fixed this yet.
The order we placed came out fine except for I was supposed to have a double stack taco and I got regular crunchy tacos. This was remedied quickly by the staff brought to their attention.
The only issues I really had were trying to get my drink refilled. The first time I stood on the carpet on the little doorway they used to walk between the front and the back to get somebodyâs attention so that I can get my first refill. I was told not to stand in the back section of the restaurant because they couldnât have people back there. I did not feel like I was encroaching on their space but I did have to go further than the customer should to get a refill. The second time I went to go get a refill. I said loudly enough at the front counter that anyone in the back could hear me that I needed a refill on my drink. I waited 30 seconds and nobody showed up so I reached my hand around the counter, filled up my cup And left. The Employee try to start a conversation with me about not doing that and I did not feel like getting into it so I just left. I shouldnât have to call in the back of the house to get somebodyâs attention to get customer service.    Read moreToday I was accused of scamming this restaurant for the large salsa that I paid for that wasn't included in my curbside order. Needless to say I am very upset. This is my sixth-time ordering from there in the last 2 weeks. I grew up in the restaurant industry in Tallahassee with a mom & pop Tex-Mex restaurant in my family on FSU Campus and have worked every FOH positional in restaurants/bars in FL & NYC. I can confidently say that the food has been MOSTLY on point and delicious but the attention to detail & service has been sub par. The 1st incidence was a delivery order that they blamed the error on that person (when they thought I was on hold or mute and I wasn't!) for my missing drinks and queso, and todays missing large salsa. I never have been so disrespected by staff of a restaurant in my life, nor have I ever treated anyone this way. I don't care if I spent $50 or $2 on an item or service. If it wasn't received or in good order or whatever scenario...I'm the paying customer and if I don't get what I ordered then I should A. Get what I ordered or B. A refund or C. A credit on my card or next meal. Or last but least I can ask for a chargeback from my bank lol 𤣠Just because of duplicate complaints which was only twice out of all these orders regarding the missing food and service, I'm speechless.
