Visited store on 9.29.20. Ordered Bahama Mama no pineapple sub banana with white chocolate and kale. Requested no sugar. No water.
It was too sweet and shaky. When smoothies are not thick they make me nervous due to antibodies and bodily fluids. My smoothie was unnormally sweet. I mostly always order Bahama Mama and there was definitely something airborne transmitted or too much of concentrate added. As a result I felt fatigue and stomach aches. So the portions of the ingredients that are sugary should be used in moderation and/or lightly. I know I'm peculiar about certain foods/products due to allergens and food poisoning so I appreciate team members/store associates for being patient and listening when I'm ordering.There was no attitude or VISIBLE foul play. Although the team could have been more welcoming and energetic.
The first time I made my complaint on the fact the team member forgot to add the kale. She noticed her mistake and corrected it quickly. After that I left and didn't bring any additional complaints to the store's attention to avoid conflict and decided to return when business hours were not so busy. I returned to speak to a manager they were busy with a catering order so I went online to let tropical smoothie know about my experience. The stated someone will reach out to me once they receive my survey.
This is my second visit at this location but first time back in a while. Due to my experience and inconvenience. To resolve my problem I simply would like a refund, $50 or $100 store gift card and meal of my choice (including a remake of smoothie).
Not trying to accumulate or "attract" diabetes or glaucoma. No legal or disciplinary action necessary unless problem isn't resolved.
Outside of that, the interior store atmosphere and cleanliness was fair. I did not experience any problems while placing or waiting for my order.

Please allow me to be honest they are all great people, they remember your name and order, of corse the food is some of the best at that price point, but there is one young lady there 3 to 4 mornings a week, and she makes the best smoothies I have ever had by far, hands down. There are two young women who work mornings about 4 days a work week. The white lady is very kind, and helpful, and always has a smile and a kind word to help me start my day, and her smoothies are a 9 out of 10. The other young woman is African American very kind, always has a smile, knows me by name and starts my order before I even get in the store. Now don't get me wrong all the employee's know my name, I am there most days, all also know my know and order, but she just goes that extra mile. She remembers what we spoke of two weeks ago, and will ask how things are going. She provides the best costumer service I have seen in a long time. I hope Tropical Smoothie understands what a great morning staff they have at the store on Mahan Dr just outside of the circle in Tallahassee FL. If you are in this area I can not recommend this location enough, and please tip, when you find a place where they know your name and order. The offerings are great, all the employees there at morning get 9 out of 10, and that one young lady gets a 10. Read moreI’m have been ordering from here every couple days for a couple months now with little to no problems, which is why it was so disappointing to me to place my usual order of a Bahama mama and a cheddar quesadilla and to be give a smoothie with a balled up plain tortilla in a bag. When I called to see what the problem with my order was I was told by a Trinity over the phone that I requested for nothing to be on it when I read back my order to her and asked were they out of cheddar she told me no, so when I asked why was there no cheddar on the tortilla she told to hang on a second while she went to talk to someone. I believe she forgot to press the hold so I listened while she told someone “ she wanted just the cheddar on her quesadilla what should I tell her” to who I’m assuming is the manager John who gave me both their names when I asked. Now for someone who relies on the delivery and no contact system for my and everyone else's safety during this pandemic, and who placed a ordered and waited nearly 45 minutes to receive has to now not only place and wait for a whole another delivery but now also find a new location or business to enjoy my lunch.
