Angelos Catering — Restaurant in Tampa

I work at Kanes Furniture, right next to the restaurant pretty much ( 1 minute drive) , we are always ordering food either breakfast or lunch. the food is delicious but the services horrible!!!!! I had several bad experiences that sometimes makes you not order from it again, all my coworkers think the same thing. For example, one time i call around 10:50 am and told them i was gonna pick up a simple breakfast bc i was opening the store by myself at 11am. i wanted 3 fried croquettes, a cuban toast and a small hot chocolate. I specifically told them that if was gonna take a little long bc i had to be at the store at 11, the server told me that it was gonna take less than 5 minutes, i told when i was going already over there that they can place the order already. I got there 1 minute later and she start taking the order, i didnt get mad because i figure it was gonna be really fast anyways. I was there literally till 11:00 am and i told them: look i called and you said it was gonna be fast, if not i wouldnt order nothing. With really bad exactitude she said: well, just to fried the croquettes its at least 10 minutes, i almost get a heart attack bc i coudnt do anything, i already paid for the order and they dont delivery for less than $15. I got really mad. i end it up leaving the restaurant at 11:10am, which was more than 10 minutes anyways. Just today we order lunch, 2 completas which is the meat with 2 sizes and a drink included. I notice the lady that help me was kinda slow so i repeated the entire order 4 times to be exact. She ended up sending the wrong food so i called back obv really upset and she gave me actittud saying that i told them wrong and that she coudnt do anything about it, that i can have the food right because what i was missing was less than $15 so they coudnt deliver. My co-workers and I got in shock with all that. Im definitely not ordering more food, even my manager says it. Specially with us that its lest than 3 minutes and we order all the time. Great place, quick, delicious, friendly staff, locally owned, multiple selections, and convenient location.

The restaurant is down the street from the football stadium so the location is great. The service is wonderful, they greet you when you walk in and the staff and owners take pride in their work. The restaurant is counter service style so you get your food quick. The price is average and a lunch plate will run you about $7-$10 depending on what your get and which drinks.

They have sandwiches made to order and several other fresh choices and Latin food to choose from, including a daily hot bar with different choices each day.

If you want the best Cuban sandwich in the area this is it. The regular size is enough for one and filling, or for the hungry person or to share get the large. I tried the brownie and OMG get ready to take a nap afterwards it Satisfyingly sweet and will solve that sweet tooth.

Updating this post for December 2021: We are vaccinated at our office and went back to buffet style meals. It came on time, was hot, and everyone said it was DELICIOUS! We ordered the holiday meal, and there was so much food. Excellent idea for a nice meal - it is like someone's mom who is a great cook made everything from scratch. 2020 REVIEW: Ordered about 25 meals for a a socially distanced office lunch yesterday (and individually boxed due to COVID). We had selected 3 different items and everything was amazing. Also, really high quality meal at a very good price...
