Casa Azul — Restaurant in Tampa

My family and I finally made it to Casa Azul and it was definitely worth the hype! The place was packed when we got there but the staff was working at full speed and super friendly. You can tell they really care about their customers. From the moment we arrived, even though it was completely full, the staff at Casa Azul went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service was nothing short of exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You could tell they were doing everything with heart.

Despite the crowd, the team made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels this authentic.

This place is yummy! I tried the bourbon vanilla coffee, the horchata coffee & the churros. First the presentation when they give you your drinks is very nice. They place a little churro on top of the drink. I loved both of the coffees. It is probably the best tasting coffee I have ever had. They both had just amount of sweetness & you can really taste the flavor and coffee equally. They didn't over power each other & the coffee was very smooth. No weird or bitter after taste. I have never had horchata coffee before but it was sooo yummy even to the very end. I got the churro bites I didn't even eat them until I drove 20 mins home but even after the drive they were honestly the best churros I have ever had!! Went here on a Saturday around 11am and it was super busy!! The whole area was filled with people sitting and standing around. Just a heads up for anyone thinking of going on the weekend.

We ordered a dulce de leche macchiato, horchata latte, churro bites, turkey and sourdough melt, and potato and chorizo burrito. They told us it would be a while because of how busy it was, but the food came out pretty quickly. The drinks took about 40 minutes though.

The food was delicious and the churros were so good! Not too sweet which was perfect! The drinks were also delicious, came with a churro bite on top!
