Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Tampa

So we got to Church's Chicken to get something to eat at a little bit after 9pm. Myself my family and a bunch of other vehicles were waiting in the line as well. We were stuck in the line so we could not get out. We reach the drive-thru menu billboard at around 9:50 finally. This sign was posted sorry our menu board is out of order. Need to order at window. There was no one outside taking orders at all due to the menu board being out. About five minutes later we reach the window to order our food. A young lady approached the window which we thought was going to take our order finally. She proceeded to close the window lock it in from the inside says sorry we're closed. After sitting in the Drive-Thru for approximately almost an hour this is was the end result from Church's Chicken and this is how they value their customers. Needless to say I'm going to call their corporate office and see how they respond to this complaint. My advice is never eat at the Church's Chicken on Hillsborough Avenue because clearly they do not care about their customers or their...

Church's, while I attended Culinary Arts School, I worked at a Church's in the evening many years ago. You buy Igloo jug and we would fill it for free of choice of drink on hand. That's how long ago. We had a band saw in the meat cooler to cut portions of chicken daily. The chicken would marinade in this huge tub overnight. Now it comes in cut up. Well guess what, it's over marinaded and don't cook up the same with that Golden Crisp Crust. Bite into it now it's like you tasting minced chicken meat. You already closed a lot of stores in Tampa Bay area. Why I don't know, well some stores had bad management problems. You still lowest in price, so always ahead. You waisting money on that honey for them crazy looking biscuits. Go back to the buns or Hawian Rolls. Put some mashed yams on the menu. Here's something else you might light to try Church's, Church's Signature Fried Steak Sandwich ( Chipotle sauce, Swiss or American White Cheese, Slice Pickles portions) not too thin on the steak....

So my family and I were in town for an appt and decided to stop in to this location. The first thing I noticed was how busy they were. The staff were handling it well. For it to be such a small space for them to work, and it being so many working; I noticed that the place was really clean. I had to let them know that right off bat. This is why I gave them 5 stars for the service and atmosphere. The workers were so funny at that. Now for the food. We ordered like $70 worth of food. I had the 5pc tenders spicy. I didn’t care for how they make the spicy tenders now. They put some oil based sauce that was supposed to be spicy on it but it wasn’t. That was the only thing I didn’t care for. Everything else was good. Then I tried the new Pineapple and man was it good. Now all they need to do is make it fried pineapple and cream pie and they be even better.
