We have been visiting Chinese restaurants near our house to compare them. This was the third one we visited. We ordered General Tso's chicken, shrimp lo mein, the house special bean curd, and one order of steamed dumplings. That came with white rice as well. The General Tso's chicken was intriguing. It wasn't breaded (or the breading was extremely thin) but the sauce was thick and flavorful. They also used dark instead of white meat, which actually resulted in juicier chicken rather than dried out chicken. It was also a bit on the spicy side (which is generally okay for me but not for my wife, who doesn't like spicy at all). Even though it was different from what I'm used to, I liked it and would give the General Tso's chicken a 4 out of 5. The shrimp lo mein was also pretty good. The shrimp could have been marinated to give it more flavor, but the noodles had a nice, strong flavor to them. Also a 4 out of 5. The house special bean curd was okay. It was heavy on onions and peppers that were bit on the crunchy side. The tofu wasn't particularly flavorful. The sauce was fairly flavorful but it was also rather spicy, which we were not expecting. Since that was for my wife, it didn't turn out all that well - she doesn't do spicy. So, if you're ordering this and don't want spicy, you should let them know. A 2.5 out of 5. Finally, the dumplings were pretty good. They were larger than a lot of the dumplings we've tried and they actually had a fair amount of flavor - heavier on the ginger, but you could still taste the pork in them. The came with a nice, sweet dipping sauce as well. As dumplings go, these were quite good - maybe a 4.5 out of 5. The store itself is definitely what you'd call a "hole-in-the-wall." It's part of a strip mall. Inside, it's very small and not the most up to date. But the service was extremely fast (15 minutes from when I called to when I picked up the order) and, as noted above, the food was on the good side. It's not as good as our regular place, but my son and I really liked it (my wife was less impressed). Finally, price-wise, because we ordered large portions, this was a bit more expensive than we're used to, but it wasn't crazy expensive. We paid about $45 for everything.

Small business. This place is definitely a hidden gem. The food was AMAZING, better quality than most, perfect amount of sauce. If you enjoy vegetables not completely drowned in sauce, and properly cooked— this is your place. Chicken is very good quality, not too fatty. Fried rice was great, especially if you enjoy egg. Overall I’d give this place a 5* !!! I gave 3* in atmosphere due to the lack of dining in, but for takeout; that’s not important. P.S. the picture I added to this review is a LUNCH combo, with a couple pieces of broccoli missing. 😂

Food is always hot, fresh, and satisfying. I usually go for the chicken fried rice, and it never disappoints with its flavor and quality. The egg rolls are crispy, delicious, and a perfect side. The gentleman at the counter is always super friendly and polite, making every visit a pleasant experience. It’s clear they take pride in their food and service, which is why I keep coming back. If you’re looking for great food and warm hospitality, this local business deserves your support. Give it a try—you won’t regret it!

So every time I order from this place there is always an issue, for the price they charge they barely give you any rice, the food portions are very small. I also have tried to work it out with them to let them fix their errors and they don’t. The other day I ordered from them they brought me shrimp fried rice, I’m allergic to shrimp so I called them to have my order corrected. So they sent the delivery man back to my home to pick up the order they messed up, mind you it’s still COVID regulations and I’m pretty certain they’re not supposed to take anything back from a customer’s house but you know I still kept an open mind. I am highly allergic to shell fish, I couldn’t eat anything in the plate, they accused me of eating the food and gave me a very difficult time about remaking my order and when they did send me a new order they put the same chicken that was in the plate with the shrimp in the new order. So I ended up having to give it away I couldn’t even have it, for an hour of sweet and sour chicken with vegetable fried rice, that I paid $16 for I couldn’t even eat. This isn’t the first issue that I’ve had with this place and moving forward I will never return and I won’t order again. I recommend China Wok on Armenia if you’re in the...

BAD! Needs to be closed. In my search for good Chinese food, I googled oriental food near my home and Fried Rice King came up. The reviews were good, so I decided to try it. I don't know why I went in and ordered fried pork rice . The gentleman at the register took my order and proceeded to the small kitchen to prepare the order. When he was writing the order, I couldn't help but noticed his nails, FILTHY! Without washing his hands or putting on gloves he open the small fridge and took out a small bag with meat and chopped it and added the rest of the ingredients. Mean time, I kept looking around the place and couldn't believe I had actually order and pay for something I was going to throw away. The place is...
