Really sad about this because I've been dying to go and was really hoping to love it. This is meant to be a combination of a healthy restaurant and "market." In reality, its a few shelves of maybe 20 different kinds of potato chips and some expensive produce ($1 lemons??). The products stocked in the market portion seem random and not well thought out- like they had a great idea, ran out of time to execute, and committed to being a potato chip specialty shop. There were a few odd items that I thought might be interesting, but unfortunately the products were expired. Bizarre, but mistakes happen. We ordered 2 bowls- one Steak it Out and one build your own- and grape leaves i was told were made in house fresh and from scratch. The build your own was fine, nothing amazing but nothing heinous; Harvest Bowl's choices mirror those of some popular Tampa establishments like Fresh Kitchen and Vale, but aren't executed in a particularly unique way and aren't even replicated particularly well. The sweet potato noodles taste like cold under-done spaghetti noodles for some reason and their fresh juice tastes like the liquid pickled beets sit in. They are brand new, so hopefully some of these issues will iron themselves out with time, but it was sad to see. I was hoping the owners had carved out a niche for themselves and brought something really exciting flavor wise and that just wasn't the case. The Steak It Out bowl was alright for a few bites; the steak had better flavor than I expected and was well done but more tender than I thought it might be, and the sauces were decent (i had the garlic Caesar and the chimichurri). Unfortunately I had to literally spit chunks of steak in a napkin because they had served huge pieces of gristle (cartilage and other inedible parts of meat). I got up to 6 pieces that I spit out into napkins before I gave up on the bowl altogether and tossed it. The grape leaves were going to be the place's saving grace because they were pretty good but could have used some lemon to be on par with other fresh stuffed grape leaves in the area. Sadly, the label on the plastic container indicated they were not made in house as I was reassured by the cashier, nor were they fresh- the date was from several days ago. Really disappointed about this. 2 stars instead of fewer because they're new and I'm hoping they'll work out the kinks, but it just seems to be seriously lacking...

This place is truly a gem. I will start off by saying that I prefer eating out less and less.

Over the past few years the food quality of restaurants have gone precipitously downhill while menus prices have gone astronomical. The meat quality rarely matches what I can prepare myself. There is also the scourge of vegetable seed oils that have insidiously slithered their way into seemingly everything. From the marinades, salad dressings, sauces, etc restaurants have collectively decided that you will eat the trash seed oils and there’s nothing you can do about it. It wasn’t that long ago you could still find food cooked in traditional fats like butter, tallow and olive oil. Now it’s all cheap GMO soybean/canola blends. All the more maddening when you consider that not that long ago these inferior oils were used as industrial lubricants and solvents. It never occurred to people to actually consume them. Fast forward to present day and they make up the majority of fat calories consumed by Americans (the most obese and unhealthy of all industrialized societies. Coincidence? I will leave that up to the reader to draw their own conclusions)

Now, this brings me to this wonderful establishment. The food is fresh. It is immediately recognizable as real food, as opposed to slop that gets delivered to restraints in a large plastic bag then reheated (Hello Bolay and Fresh Kitchen). The owner informed that that all of the meat is prepared with olive oils, as well as the dressings and sauces. The steak is flavorful and tender. I’m eating some noodle that is apparently made from sweet potatoes. I have no idea how that is accomplished but it’s wonderful and I love it.

To summarize: I wish the owners of this establishment wealth, success and happiness beyond their wildest dreams. I love what they have a built and the food is excellent (as well as extremely reasonably priced considering it’s quality is Lewis and bounds ahead of their so-called competition)

It is my singular wish that one day it will be the norm in America to once again to find real food being served in restaurants instead of the dystopian slop that most are attempting to pass off. Until then, there’s...

We were in the mood for healthy, fresh options, so we decided to visit Harvest Bowl Eatery & Market for lunch. Known for its wholesome salad bowls, we were excited to try something new.

Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options beyond just salad bowls. The eatery also offers Boar's Head sandwiches, various brunch options, and a nice selection of coffee beverages. It was clear that they catered to a range of tastes, making it a great spot for anyone seeking fresh, nutritious meals.

After reviewing the menu, we chose two of their signature bowls: the Medi Meeze and the Nourish Bowl, both with falafel as the protein option. To complement our meal, we also ordered black coffee.

Our lunch was served promptly, and we were impressed by the generous portions and vibrant presentation of the bowls. We started with the Nourish Bowl, which was not only delicious but also perfectly balanced in terms of flavor and nutrition. The combination of proteins and veggies was fresh and satisfying, and the portion was more than enough for one person.

Next, we dove into the Medi Meeze Bowl, a Mediterranean-inspired dish that truly impressed us. The flavors were well-rounded, and every ingredient--from the falafel to the fresh greens and toppings--was carefully prepared. The falafel in both bowls was of great quality, crispy on the outside and soft inside, adding a perfect texture to the meal.

Overall, we loved both of our lunch bowls. The fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation made for a delightful meal. The ambiance of the eatery was inviting, and the variety of options ensures there's something for everyone. We'll definitely be returning to try more of their...

I had to change my review. I use to love this place for fresh juices but now the workers are so rude if you ask for a fresh juice. They want you to get the refrigerator pre made. I have received this nasty attitude multiple times. this will be my last time coming. i can make the juice at home and drink at lunch if i want something prepared in the morning. Also their handling of food is unsanitary, they keep the same gloves on and go from one station to the next. They even had the meat sitting on the same counter to be cut that she put my fruit on. then she cut up my kiwi and got a package of tumeric and sat the pavkage on my cut kiwi, when who knows where that package could of sat before. very poor service. so sad, it was such a good place that’s going down because a few poor employees
