Pros: When I was headed to green lemon for my first time two of my main concerns were parking, and finding seats. It was a Saturday and some how some way I managed to find parking immediately despite it being a full house;also, finding seats was a little uncomfortable but I'll explain it in my cons. Fortunately a couple at the bar got up and we both took a seat, Ryan the bar tender took notice of us immediately before we even took our seats and handed us some menus. This surprised me because I didn't think he paid us any attention, he was super busy, despite all the clients he had attended to he was able to correctly take our order and make our drinks "pronto" or in other words FAST. Their waitresses are super nice, whatever questions I asked I got a pleasant response. In fact IN some bars folks tend to order behind your back and I'm guilty of doing this, but at Green Lemon it didn't seem intrusive when others did it, because the waitresses were there to help-their service was that fast, that good. The food surprised me, it was that delicious, I ordered their hard shell tacos and it was a burst of different flavors in each one, each was truly one of a kind. Our drink orders included a sangria, long island, and two margaritas with a Corona on them both-Fair warning to the faint in heart this drink will hit you hard. For dessert we were treated to two dessert bowls filled with ice cream, whip cream and churros-Amazing. For my CONS review I really wish the bar was bigger and as I stated earlier the reason why we felt uncomfortable when we walked in to get seats was because of the host that day. I strongly believe in being a positive person despite the place not having seats available, I almost left, she didn't even offer me to look at the bar, or even recommended me to order to-go, I actually ended up walking to the bar and the wait for two seats at the bar wasn't even that long, she's totally unfamiliar with her surroundings. She's a beautiful young lady but definitely needs to be on her P's & Q's, and smile a lot more. Overall this place deserves a 5 star because of quality. What they have to offer is worth every cent. One suggestion, try adding ceviche to the menu, I was looking for it. Most Mex-Fusion restaurants in Miami and Palm Beach have them and it's always popular. I was intrigued it wasn't in the menu but like I said earlier... 5 stars!

Cinco de Mayo in SoHo with Tuesday! The Green Lemon in the Old Hyde Park section of Tampa was alive and vibrant for the Mexican celebration! It's definitely the place to go when you want to fiesta! It was jammed packed and wild in the middle of the afternoon which led us to question what was it going to be like after the sun went down? As soon as we walked in the huge Ice Carving was being filled with tequila and the chilled shots were flowing for FREE throughout the restaurant! With as many people as were jammed into the establishment the service was still fast and the food was being served surprisingly fast! They were prepared for the crowd and handled everything with silky perfection! It was controlled chaos but a really fun vibe that made you happy to be part of the excitement! Unlike a local Irish Pub in Crystal River that was totally unprepared on St. Patrick's Day. No wonder Trip Advisor has this rated as the #1 Mexican Restaurant in Tampa! This modern hangout offers upbeat Mexican inspired street fair! For our appetizer we started with the Trio Dip, freshly my chips with guacamole, queso blanco & lime salsa! It was outstanding and we both really enjoyed the queso blanco! The Don Julio 1942 Tequila Margarita was top shelf! So good I had to have another! Next we went with The Street Trio any combination of three street tacos from their extensive selections! Our three choices were Kung Fu'd Tuna, blackened seared rare tuna, pickled onion, mango, cucumber, avocado topped with cilantro and drizzled with Mexican siracha aioli! Second taco was the Camarones, grilled shrimp, crisp cabbage, cilantro, pickled red onion topped with charred jalapeno salsa! And last but not least was the Pescado, blackened Mahi, crisp cabbage, pickled onions, avocado and topped with Verde salsa! These were some of the best-tasting tacos we have ever had and they were so good we ordered another three of the exact same ones!! We for sure will return and imagine this is a great place for Taco Tuesday with my Tuesday!! Buen provecho!!!

Vegan options Free parking The entrance to Green Lemon is NOT marked it's just a big wooden door, which is easy to pass, also no signs on the windows. I literally walked around the building and then walked back the way I came and happened to see a couple walk threw the large wooden door. (When the sun is blazing it's hard to look up at the top of each restaurant and see the signs.) Friendly employees. My waitress Diana was patient, friendly and professional. Great service :-) Fast service Indoor dining only No wifi :-( I ordered the fried avocado , lime salsa and chips and 2 Taco Rosa. $16 I had fried avocado at The CheeseCake Factory and it was delicious. The fried avocado at the Green Lemon didn't taste right to me. I didn't like it. The lime salsa was sweet and tasted like it came out of grocery store jar. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it. The tortilla chips were DELICIOUS . They arrived to my table hot and sprinkled with chili pepper. The Taco Rosa was really good, I didn't expect to like cauliflower. I ordered the crispy taco which was lightly crunchy and tasted similar to the tortilla chips , very good taco. I was a first time customer so the restaurant gave me a free churro. I hadn't had a churro since 2003. The churro was really good. I'm still going to rate Green Lemon 5 stars (even tho I didn't like the avocado fries or salsa, which is personal preference). The service was great , awesome music and the majority of the food was delicious Update : I went back a second time, My waitress Brianna was great. I ordered the nuclear salsa, way better then the lime salsa. (If you're from the west coast you might like the nuclear salsa better) I also ordered the guacamole, it was perfection.

We were looking for a good Mexican place to try in Tampa and we decided to try Green Lemon. We went to the place around 8:30pm and it was full. The waiting was for 1:30 hrs. So we decided to takeout the order. After browsing through the menu we decided to order Fajita Bowl, Crispy Trees, Pollo Gigante Bowl and Taco plate. We got our order in 20 minutes. The food was delicious. We loved the crispy trees. Loved it. We also loved the tacos. The tacos were delicious and we loved the tacos. The two bowls ordered were also delicious. Loved the bowls. Amazing food with amazing atmosphere at the restaurant. If you want to eat at the restaurant try to go early. The only drawback is that they do not take any reservations. Rest everything is amazing. Second visit to Green Lemon For Saturday morning we went to Daily Eats for breakfast but due to morning rush for breakfast and wait time we decided to have brunch at Green Lemon. We were seated on the table and greeted by our server Bridget with the menus. From menu we first ordered the Sangrita Drink and along with the drink we ordered Fitness Bowl and Shrimp Taco Bowl. We soon got our Sangrita Drink. The drink was good and cold drink. The service was again good and soon we got our bowls. Fitness Bowl was what I needed on Saturday morning with grilled chicken, and cauliflower. Amazing bowl. Then we got our Shrimp Taco bowl which was delicious and tasty. Must try bowls from Green Lemon.

Part of the ciccio family.of restaurants this one is both on them with their edgy marketing are you dtf(down to Fiesta?) and their food doesn't disappoint! The service was fantastic. The manager even came over and offered to change the television to a more kid friendly program for my son which was very sweet and our server Taylor was preemptive with realizing we needed more napkins and offering the "Shia la beef" (yes that's correct) as a taco suggestion and it lived up to her hype. She does her job very well. We were using a comp card but topped her according to her service (if you don't tip you're pretty much trash and shouldn't be eating out... No "your business" doesn't pay the servers bills. Grow up) in any case the kids meal portion was also incredible and the food was a great quality. Sometimes restaurants cop out on the kids meal but not this one. An adult could've eaten this meal and been full (not me though because I eat heavy when I want to experience a restaurant to its full capacity. The only thing we didn't order was a Margherita and regrettably so because they looked delicious but I'll be back any time I have a reason to be in Tampa for sure. Caution about the parking situation though if you haven't been here before. It sucks and since the restaurants are so busy it's tough to find a spot. Keep up the great work guys!
