Love this place. But I always come and get a #6 (4 tacos onion and cilantro )and I ask for no onion and cilantro and to replace it with lettuce and my order is fine still comes out to $12 but the next time I come they are charging me 2$ to replace the onion and cilantro with a SPRINKLE OF LETTUCE ( $2 is what they charge for supreme taco upgrade which comes with lettuce tomato cheese sour cream ) !!!! That’s literally insane . I come here all the time and the same girl always is at the window this once a new face was at the window and she said we charge for anything “ EXTRA” but I asked for a replacement not anything “Extra”. They need to all be trained and reminded to stay on the same page when it comes to extras, replacements , and up charges. I always rave about this spot and have but plenty of my close friends and family on to this spot. It’s definitely a hidden gem but baby there are plenty other amazing tacos spots that are affordable and taste just as good. Probably won’t return after this poor customer service experience because I got charged $14 for meat and lettuce when that’s normally meat, lettuce, cheese, sour cream,...
Read moreMy wife and I are looking for a taco place that was open late night we came across Hector's tacos and decided upon this place. After looking at the menu we realize that they served pupusas as well as tacos. The woman working there was not very friendly at all. My wife attempted to order one pupusas and several tacos. The woman stated that she was not allowed to sell just one pupusa. We had to place an order for 2. Because the pupusas were $3 a piece and she only wanted one she decided to go ahead and just order tacos we ended up ordering 8 tacos the meat had no flavor tasted very old the tortillas were over cooked and were like plastic. There was hardly any meat in the taco for the price. Tacos are one of the most simplest foods you can make I don't understand how they were able to ruin it. the woman working there looked really miserable and upset about something and it definitely reflected in the food. At $17 for 8 tacos I could have gone to Walmart and bought the stuff and made it myself made it tastes way better. I was very...
Read moreI bought a steak taco and a steak empañada today. They were both pretty good! The meat was good in both. The crispy empañada was my favorite. It was surprisingly long! When I pulled it apart the cheese stretched out and it was so fun to eat.
A couple of minor downsides: I felt like the taco was small ($2.50 for each... Eek). And there wasn't enough green sauce. I should've asked for more but I didn't know it was a small portion until after I drove away with my food. That's MY fault. I was just adding that fact in the review so others can make sure they ask for more sauce. Another thing is that I waited for about 15 minutes (I can wait, but I was expecting quicker service from a food truck). The location is a bit odd. You'll see it though.
All in all, it's a good place for a quick bite to eat. My review is probably more critical than others because I've tried a lot of Hispanic food trucks before. But, this is is a great place for the majority of the people. So, don't let my review persuade you to...
