KFC — Restaurant in Tampa

Total Nightmare. Walked in and the staff said we are too busy to take your order put it through the app. We ordered it from the app and a few minutes later they marked it as done. It wasn't. They said that they were out of chicken and making more. We waited 35 minutes to get our food and the chicken was super dark colored and super greasy. We put the chicken on the plate and a pool of grease formed underneath the chicken. It wasn't juicy it was greasy. We asked them what happened and she said she didn't know it must be "bad chicken". We asked for a refund and she said it was too late and she can't give refunds order through the app. What a scam!! Tried to get ahold of Lauren Erwine who was listed on the door as the manager and there is no way to get ahold of anyone. Everything sends you to an Indian call center where they make you repeat everything over and over. While we were waiting for our food inside the line of people who didn't get what they ordered through the drive thru made it unsafe. People who didn't get what they paid for in the drive thru came inside and started screaming and slamming the countrer because they waited so long to get their food and then found out the order wasn't complete. Worst KFC ever. They need a real mgr there. If I could give less than a 1 star I would. You have...

This drive thru is a joke. Whoever was working the drive thru at 10:45pm on 12/18/21 was completely rude and unprofessional. I completely understand why a customer was going off screaming at them (not an acceptable reaction, but I get the frustration). We sat in the drive thru for 15 min while this chic lost her mind. I didn't understand it until I got to the speaker. After she finally left, the employees made no attempt to make it better for the rest of us. I sat at the speaker for 10 min before my order was taken; I called "hello?" over the speaker to get a "hellooo" back. I asked if they could take my order and she said, "no ma'am." Meanwhile, I watched through the windows as I saw everyone inside laughing and goofing off instead of working. Then 3 minutes later, she finally took my order. I sat another 7 min to get my food. No apologies. No explanations. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Total waste of time.

And why does half the restaurant close an hour before...

I don’t even write reviews but this is by far the worst KFC ever. Terrible customer service, ghetto employees, and terrible food. My food was wrong, then cold… The associate decided to hand me each item piece by piece on the counter and leave it there. After me asking her to box it correctly & bag it she told me no I can do it myself. I stated it’s her job to do that, what was I supposed to do pick up the chicken pieces and transfer it to another box myself? That’s disgusting!! She made it seem like I was the problem for my food being wrong!! After getting home I also came to find out there was a foreign object in my food! Something like a piece of wood in my chicken bowl… I bit into my mashed potatoes and bit down on it!!! I did call corporate same night, and currently waiting to hear back… According to the reviews corporate doesn’t reach back out tho… I’ll update this...
