Mayday Ice Cream Centro Ybor — Restaurant in Tampa

I don’t want to be dramatic but oh my goodness this is my favorite ice cream shop. I’ve never had the amazing Blackberry Earl Gray flavor, heard it’s seasonal and it’s the best thing I had during my trip to Tampa. It’s so good that I got this flavor two days in a row. But honestly I’ve tried quite a few flavors and got the 6-scoop tasting flight every single flavor is amazing. My favorites are the blackberry earl gray and aviator. It is so satisfying and lights up my night.

On top of that, shop is very cute and staffs I interacted on the days I visited were all super friendly and kind. I wish I can pack the ice cream and take them with me on my flight back home. I had to write this review because my heart is a little empty knowing this shop doesn’t exist in my city, so whoever reads this review please give it...

The quality and the selection of the ice cream that you get here, in my personal opinion is better than what you get at the evermore famous Chill Bro’s ice cream. I’d highly recommend you either go for the Blueberry Toast Crunch, North Polepermint if in stock, Cookie Crush, or the Mint Monster. The flavoring of these ice cream flavors is beyond belief. Also love the glass bottle soda selection!

No matter who serving you that day, you can be sure you will be well served. I’ve always been greeted respectfully, I don’t think anyone they hire is unpleasant.

We were happy to see you on our way back from Tampa Pride 🌈!!! After preforming in the parade we were tired and hot! We decided to get Hippo Pops! I deserved a little extra so I got two 21+ kind! There’s always so many flavors to choose from. Kryder was our host. He was wonderful with everyone and kept the pace moving and still running many things at the same time. It was crazy busy because it was pride so maybe the owner should have more staff on a very busy day! Poor guy was alone. I mean there were a few hundred thousand people on the next street over.
