I like this place.

It's got that dive bar feel, and cheap drinks to match; they have a decent menu, including a cheap section that includes $4 Rum Runners that didn't give me a hangover. Diverse crowd, diverse music tastes (TouchTunes could be playing metal one song and hip-hop the next).

On Friday and Saturday you'll see people go here before walking to The Castle, which I guess is fun if you're a people-watcher? A friend of mine was berated by a staff member and verbally abused for using the men's restroom during an emergency. The men who had been in the restroom gave her permission to use the stall, and when she came out the staff member was standing in front of the door pointing at the "men's" sign repeatedly. He then loudly asked her if she was a man, got into her face, and told her to leave the bar. This is the last straw for this bar. Cheapest drink prices I've seen in Ybor. Decent drinks, friendly staff, down to earth atmosphere.

Edit: over the years, I've gotten to know the place and the people allot better. It's definitely a fun and friendly environment. Some Saturdays during the day, there's a fabulous local artist market set up inside with allot of amazing artwork and artists. It's like a gallery opening party every time!
