Terrible experience here. My friend & I arent from this area. We came to Tampa to celebrate my birthday which was last night. After lots of consideration, we decided to go to Prana. We liked the idea of different genres of music being played on each of the floors. Our night started out negatively with the bouncer outside misrepresenting the cost for us to get in. My friend asked him a question or two trying to get clarity & he was beyond disrespectful. He stepped towards her was loud & aggressive. Very intimidating & so so so unnecessary. We hadn’t had any alcohol yet. Both of us are in our mid 40’s, we are mothers & working professionals. I feel that’s important to note because the majority of the crowd was young and there was quite a bit of foolishness going on all around us. We are not a part of that crowd. We were simply there to listen to good music, dance & spend my birthday together. We spent a couple hours doing just that. Around 1 am my friend was on the top floor dancing with a man she had met a bit earlier. We had never met or seen this man before last night. Again no belligerent behavior what so ever. Slight dancing and face to face communication between the two of them. They were over to the side and away from the crowd. Out of nowhere, one of the bouncers came up to the man and asked him to remove a scarf he had around his neck. The bouncer roughly moved my friend out of the way to get to the man. I was about 20 feet away watching the whole thing. The interaction from the bouncer looked very confrontational so I started to move closer. I saw the man remove his scarf. The bouncer got closer to his face and was very very upset. He grabbed his arm. Neither my friend nor the man were aggressive in return. Quite the opposite. My friend looked nervous and upset. The way they were positioned, my friend was pressed up against the bar and unable to get out of the situation. The bouncer held the man by the arm and started to push him towards the exit area where you go downstairs. I saw another bouncer rush up and he grab my friend. He started pulling her. I was making my way through the crowd, but by the time I got close, they were all heading down the stairs. I could see my friend trying to pull away. She kept saying “your hurting me”, “let go of me”. I tried to approach her and a third bouncer stood in front of me like a wall. I told him that they were hurting my friend, that neither of us know the man they were confronting etc.... He totally ignored me, no eye contact but continued to stand in front of me. Eventually he let me go downstairs but by then I could not find my friend. I was in and out of the building for over a half hour trying to locate her. I finally found her outside. She was crying and very very upset. We went home. She had red marks on her arms & neck. As of morning, those red marks have become bruises. Fingerprint marks on both arms. Two finger print marks on her neck where she told me a bouncer had grabbed her. On her neck!!! She told me that one of the bouncers involved in the whole ordeal, told her that “this is what happens when you are with someone we’re having a problem with”. Even though she didn’t know the man, even though she wasn’t doing anything wrong, even though she was upset and being hurt, the response was that the treatment was justified because she was with the wrong person, wrong place, wrong time. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. How is this possible?? How are the men involved ok treating someone like this, let alone a woman?! We have taken pictures. We will handle the rest of this situation privately as it cannot be ignored or overlooked. This review is to give public notice to the disrespect and abuse this establishment...

I HAD A WAITRESS ATTEMPT TO STEAL FROM ME AND COVER IT UP!!!!!!!!!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THE ONLY WAY I'LL EVER GO BACK IS IF I KNOW FOR SURE SHE HAS BEEN FIRED.
Went last night for my friends Birthday. Got a private table on the 3rd Floor. The shot waitress asked if I needed anything so I say yes I'd like a bottle of Moet Rose. She said that will be $200. I paid her but while doing so she happened to notice the massive wad of hundreds I unwittingly retrieved from my pocket, so she then immediately said, "oh wait, that will be $250". Having never had a waitress steal from me before, seeing as how I am an awesome tipper, I figured maybe the price went up since it was later in the night. So I hand her another hundred, get my bottle from another waitress, and am sitting there waiting for the one I paid to come back with my change, and was ready to give her a $20 tip. After about 30 minutes I seen our original waitress, which was a really excellent server, and asked her where is my change, I gave that girl $300 because she said this 2nd bottle of champagne I just got was $250. She looked at me and said, "No way, these bottles are $200" Next thing I know the one who tried to steal my money is back at the table apologizing and at the same time tying to pretend like she didn't remember getting the 3rd hundred dollar bill. She then says, "I'm just going to pay for this out of my pocket because I don't want to make a big deal out of this and get fired, do you mind if I give you all ones?" I said, "hell yeah I mind, I gave you three crisp one hundred dollar bills, you tried to charge me extra and steal the third hundred." The manager then came to our table and I explained the situation. The girl Gave me a hundred dollars and the manager pulled her in the back and I don't know what happened from there. THE POINT IS: This POS grimey BI#$% tried to steal from me when we were already spending more than everyone else and then tried to pretend like it didn't happen. I was outraged! she didn't get any tip of course and she "should" be fired. To make matters worse about an hour after the incident she walks by and says, "everything good now,?" in a real sassy tone. I just sat there and looked at her, like you...

My name is Jarick Hamilton & I’m the Founder and Chief Visionary Apparatus for HamiltonPremier. I’ve taken the time out of my morning to sit down and give credit where credit is most certainly without a doubt , due. I’ve been coming to Prana for about a year and some change now & I must say, I’ve noticed some good things and some bad things with staff & employee behaviors & things that should have NO place where human decency is concerned. However & Nonetheless .. that’s not why I am here. I am a firm Believer that good deeds, good behavior and good human qualities should never go unnoticed nor should they ever go un-rewarded. From Since day one ! Justin Andrews has been very near and dear to my heart. He may not know this but great customer service is always something that MUST come with a smile. & I remember distinctly Justin being the only one who greeted me with a smile , the first time I visited. Long story short ! Justin and I do have a good relationship but that’s not because we both are lowkey die hard Star Wars fans but for the SIMPLE FACT that his Customer Service qualities are unlike anything I have ever seen. He is Kindred Spirit & knows how to carry himself in the position that has been bestowed upon him. Justin is solely one of the reasons why I still keep coming back! Dear Mr. Owner or to whom this may concern! Justin Andrews is the climax of what being a good human being is all about ! & Frankly you are all so very lucky to have a man of his caliber in your life! Justin ! Thank you for always being so kind to me & thank you for always showing me what it means to be a friend.
P.S , please make sure that Justin’s deeds and hard work do NOT go without reward.
