McDonald's — Restaurant in Tampa

By far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The customer service was deplorable. I waited at the drive thru for almost 8 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there. Once they asked if I was using the app I gave them the code and they took another five minutes to respond. I finally ordered and drove around to the window to pay and pulled up to the next window to get my order (there were no other cars waiting in line). I was immediately asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my order without being given any reason for the wait. There was an employee standing outside talking with a person in a car that was blocking me from parking and a car in the spot I was asked to park in. I informed the employee and I was rudely told to park in another spot. I asked if I could just be refunded because I was obviously inconveniencing the employees. The employee then yelled for a manager and told her I wanted a refund because I didn't want to move which was incorrect. The manager then came to the window and threw a bag rudely out of the window and didn't acknowledge me or my request for a refund. I asked if she was the manager. She rolled her eyes and said yes and walked away. The bag only had two of the items I ordered. I didn't receive my drink or the nuggets I ordered but because of the horrible treatment I already received I didn't feel comfortable asking them for the missing items or requesting a refund. I was very disappointed with the quality of food I did receive and just tossed them in the trash. I stop by McDonald's often because of the convenience and the affordable prices. It’s been a long day at the office. You’re tired and don’t have the energy to cook something at home. You want something fast so you can get home and relax. Well skip this McDonald’s because they missed the memo that fast food is supposed to be fast.

If you use the drive thru, you are always asked to pull forward and wait in a parking spot then waiting for at least 10-15 minutes and this after spending an equal amount of time waiting in the line to place your order and pay. They recently changed the signage in the parking lot to change pick up order spots to drive thru spots and reserve previously unmarked spots for pickup and delivery orders because of how slow they are.

A few weeks ago I placed an order on the app and was sitting in the parking lot for 25 minutes. Finally got frustrated and went inside where no one acknowledged me for another 5 minutes. My order had just been sitting on the counter without anyone bringing it to me. The food was cold.

So maybe they are punishing me for being lazy. What if you go in and place an order? Same treatment. On top of the wait, orders are constantly missing items or you are just given the wrong food.

I’ve used this place many times because it’s right by my house, but I’ve suffered in silence for long enough. Hopefully writing this review will finally get me to stop being an idiot and giving this place my business. Don’t follow my lead and avoid this McDonald...

Really friendly staff. It was nice and clean and a crew member was even sweeping hard at work while I was ordering. The whole process of ordering was quick and easy. As someone who's picky about toppings it was amazing that it wasn't long for the cashier to ring it up with exact accuracy. She was very professional and respectful. Next I received my food. Freshly made, steaming hot, exact toppings and properly salted. The fries weren't soggy and were extremely crisp my mcdoubles were the epitome of what it should be. Soft buns with a delicious meat patty and melted cheese. Every bite was absolutely divine as I would alternate eating the mcdoubles and fries. I also received my food in a matter of minutes. As a college student right around the corner it is great to be able to get that food fast while on a lunch break to make it back to class especially since eat in orders normally take less priority compared to drive-thru. Definitely one of the best McDonald's I've ever been to and exceptionally high quality of food and staff even during stressful peak rush times with a calm controlled atmosphere showing the well trained proficiency of the crew members.
