Nino's Taqueria y Mas — Restaurant in Tampa

I got the birria taco plate, Mexican rice, and horchata. I'm originally from Arizona, so it can be a challenge to find decent Mexican food out here in Florida. All three of these were so, so good. Horchata was not watered down at all, the tacos were still crispy when I got home, the consommé was rich and beefy and amazing, and the rice... THE RICE. So flavorful. Most places struggle to get the depth of flavor you'd find in a home kitchen for their rice. Not here. Some of the best rice I've had at any foodservice place, anywhere. Grilled onions and a jalapeño on the side was a nice touch. Awesome customer service, to top it all off. This place is pretty new, I really just hope they make it and thrive, because the quality is definitely there. I very rarely write reviews, but it's just that good. I'll be getting tacos here every time I come down to tampa....

Never do I review places. After trying the torta this place just deserves me going out of my way to review it. I’ve been getting a burrito after I found this lowkey spot late night. Tonight I got the torta and let me just say the quality and taste of this food has not once disappointed me. I’m always looking for quantity and quality. This place has exceeded all expectations WITH reasonable prices. I don’t want to make this place popular because of the great food and greats prices but they deserve the credit. Well done...

I just finished the most incredible Mexican meal from Ninos. The lengua tacos were so good! Seriously, so tender and full of flavor. And the Gorditas de chicharrón verde? Crispy to perfection. I couldn’t resist and called back to add the esquite for dessert, and it was the cherry on top. Everything was made super quick and tasted incredibly fresh. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican food, do yourself a favor and check this place out! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.
