Room 1701 Restaurant Lounge — Restaurant in Tampa

Im giving a 4 because the place is nice, good atmosphere . The guy that was there don not know if he is the manager but it was very pleasant, but and is a big but. As we arrived (my sister and me) we was the only 2 persons in there for a while. The guy came first very nice we order 2 margaritas, then the waiter came we ask for a menu but she tolds us about a plate to share that ia very popular and we order that, 2 hrs later no food, we keep calling her and asking and she keeps saying they are preparing your food. The keeps us with the same excuse for the whole 2 hrs. A guy sit at the table next to us and order food and told my sister I think they running after the pig because food is taking this long. Ok 2 hrs and 20 minutes later food arrived in a really small plate like for a child and food was soooooòo cold it was ridiculous, like it was sitting out for a while. She came put the plate no napkins, no asking you want anything else or anything. They guy next to us try his food left it and walk away (we should have done the same) then I call her and order an empanada and told her as a joke if is going to take 2 hrs I dont want it. She tells me order the beef one because is the best. Again she brings the empanada put the plate in front of me jo napkins not asking do you need anything else. By this time the place was pack but hello Im a paying customer also. I need napkins because I was eating greasy food, I need a drink so I can get the food down lol then I bite into the empanada and is a pizza empanada ugh. My siater call her over we tell her we got the wrong empanada and her answer was oh wow and walk away. I honestly was ready to walk out without paying but again we have to find her to ask for the check........waiter needa to do better as for me not coming back. We had table reservations with one of the bottle girls. After almost waiting outside for 15 minutes we decided to just pay the entrance and go in thinking it was just super busy and the bottle girl could not get to us(apparently she had to come and escort us to our table) anyways we pay the entrance fee x 7 ($70) and when we walk in the club was half empty..we preceded to go to the cup section which by the way was empty..and quickly were greeted by the bottle girl that could not come get us..apparently she “forgot” to add our party to the VIP list.. after ordering our bottles it took them another 15 minutes to get them to our table. I was already three shots in on Hennessy because of my frustration. The bar service was great even when the club became busy.. but the bottle service sucked. A repeat client says that the entrance fee was just a trick to make even more money off of us.. We received a bill for $800($120 service fee) which is okay to pay if the service was incredible.. the DJ SUCKED, kept cutting songs off and at one point had technical difficulties and there was no music playing whatsoever. I won’t be coming back, I would recommend that if you’re traveling go to soho or..Jackson’s which is my go to and the prices are just about the same. Jackson’s is more upscale and has different...

Very unorganized and unprofessional night spot.They advertise they was have a 2 for 1 bottle special but once we got there they refuse to give us the bottle special that they heavily advertise.Me and my boy only came for that special.They tried to state the bottle special was only good until midnight which i never been to venue that do bottle specials only with certain hours.I felt like due to them being a small business they was hurting for money so they started upcharging everyone due to them not being able to fill up the building with people.They patio area for smoking was closed off so people felt force to smoke in the building due to them not accommodating the customers.The only postive thing is they have beautiful bottle girls but some of them lack in English so its hard for you to communicate with them.I wont be back...
