Subway — Restaurant in Tampa

This location is deceptive by it's rating. The food is basically hit or miss given who is on duty. Most employees look like junkies and addicts who could care less about their job. I have also never seen more than one employee working here at a time which means they are usually overwhelmed by orders, and with no supervision, they could care less about customer service or sandwich quality. This is obviously a privately owned store and it shows. There are homeless people always outside & inside the store loitering about. Employees tend to be unprofessional and are quick to give you attitude. There is one big guy with glasses who tends to work nights, what a basket case! He basically has a mental breakdown every time I've seen him working all because he's working alone & likes to snap on customers. I mean get another job already!!! I usually order online and pick up but it seems the individuals here cannot read that well and my sandwiches are typically missing ingredients. The bread at this store is also not great, having a tough, rubbery texture as if it's not fresh. Today is my last day going to Subway, prices have gone up and quality is still terrible. To be honest a lot of these issues has a lot to do with the area as well... In a much "better" part of town I notice the service and food is way better. Which isn't fair or right but it is what it is I guess.... At the end of the day I'd rather give my money to Publix, Jersey Mike's and Jimmy Johns for a sub as the customer service is far superior and so is the quality of the food. After my awful experience today.... I'm ABSOLUTELY DONE with Subway...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Subway located at 4408 W Hillsborough Ave in Tampa, FL, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. As someone who frequents Subway, this visit stands out as one of the best I've had in recent memory.

Upon entering, I noticed that the only staff member working was a man named Randall G. Not knowing what type of sub I wanted, I decided to seek his recommendation. Sometimes, requesting suggestions can be met with indifference or discomfort, but Randall's friendly and helpful demeanor immediately put me at ease. He confidently suggested a sub that turned out to be absolutely perfect for my tastes.

The sandwich Randall prepared for me was a surprise. While I'm not certain about all the ingredients, it had a distinct flavor reminiscent of a sushi roll like the kind I often enjoy. The combination of flavors was superb, and it left me thoroughly satisfied. When someone takes the time to understand your preferences and delivers a personalized culinary experience, it is commendable, and worth sharing the experience.

Beyond the delicious sandwich, the cleanliness of the restaurant also caught my attention. A tidy and well-maintained dining environment adds to the overall dining experience, and this Subway location excelled in that aspect. It further enhanced my positive impression of the establishment.

In conclusion, Randall G's friendly and attentive service, along with his excellent sandwich recommendation, made it an experience I will remember fondly. I highly recommend this Subway location to anyone seeking a positive and satisfying...

On my way out of town we visited this Subway and a young lady by the name of Crystal served us. I would like to start out by saying that while this establishment was clean and very well maintained crystal was very rude, unprofessional and intrusive. While I was in the restroom she asked my fiancée if he was married to which he responded no but he was engaged. She replied with, but are you happy or being trapped into into getting married. When I took my place back in line next to my fiancée she gave me several dirty looks and even asked me, What do you want? I ended up not ordering anything because of how angry I became. I heard that these questions as I was exiting the restroom. The men behind me were very uncomfortable and even left. I dont appreciate being treated in this manner and hope that the managers are placing close attention to this employee. I will NOT EVER step foot back into this restaurant.
