We recently went to this newly opened sushi restaurant to celebrate our friend’s birthday. It was a wonderful experience. We were impressed and pleasantly surprised. It is easily one of the best sushi restaurants serving the best sushi, tempura and other Japanese cuisines around New Tampa and Wesley Chapel, in our opinion. It was opened just a month ago. The restaurant décor and atmosphere are fresh, clean, cozy and inviting. The staff are very friendly, attentive and very considerate. The food came out pretty quickly. Each plate of dish was prepared with fresh ingredients, presented beautifully and professionally, and tasty of course. Its convenient location is another plus. It is just off the BBD Blvd and County Line Road and a short distance to both New Tampa and Wesley Chapel. We are lucky that we have this new sushi addition and option in our growing communities here. And we are looking forward to many visits to Sushi Time down the road.

We went to this sushi place for dinner, and overall, it was a good experience. Dinner was $26.99 per person, plus a little extra for drinks and a few other items. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out pretty quickly. The sushi was good—some rolls were very tasty, while others were decent but not the best I’ve had. The soup was especially good and stood out to me. One thing to note: we arrived a bit late, close to closing time, and while we were still eating, the staff started cleaning up and putting chairs on tables. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did feel a bit rushed. The restaurant has plenty of parking outside, and inside there are booths with table lamps, creating a cozy vibe. I’d recommend giving this place a try—it’s a solid spot for sushi with good service and reasonable pricing. Not the absolute best sushi, but definitely worth visiting

Two words: ROCKET ROLL. Worth the 40min drive out from New Port Richey just for this roll. And all you can eat sushi that tastes amazing for ~ $20? Yes please. Bring on the Rocket Rolls! As to people complaining about having to pay for leftover sushi, the terms of the deal are at the top of the menu on the front page. Can't believe an "experienced" critic not only complained, but blamed it on supposed "fine print". Clearly she combines poor taste with an inability to read. Besides, how bad at math do you have to be to only order two rolls per person, at $21 per person? If you only want two rolls, just order the two rolls, don't pay for the all-you-can-eat sushi.

My wife and I came here after months of avoiding trying a new buffet style sushi place (our normal is Koizi). I wish I could say I had a better time with Ginza. Somehow the night was an unfolding of miss after miss. The atmosphere, to start, is very awkward and unsatisfying to eat in. Lights are left on full glow, the walls are undecorated for the most part, and on the walls next to the booths are paper signs for the waiters that are a bit hard not to be distracted by. The waiters was the next eye catching problem for us. It seemed like waiters just jumped at tables in an unorganized manor; while also paying very low attention to people seated to begin with. To start with our service: the waiter attending us brought Sprite instead of lemonade, waited 10 minutes before coming back saying “oh sorry I think I gave you sprite instead”. Two drinks (a water and a lemonade) doesn’t seem like something very hard to start the night off with. From there it got worse. The food was very dry on multiple different rolls, entrees as well were very subexpectation for some of the high reviews this place has, the sweet and sour chicken somehow tasted exactly like McDonald’s chicken nuggets, and then a different waiter we had not met came by half way through the meal and topped my “sprite-lemonade” off with water. All of this before even getting to the bill. This place definitely over charges. I admired the variety of choice that the menu had to offer at first glance, but not long after I could see that everything was overcharged and extremely underdelivered. It was not pleasant to leave somewhere paying upwards to $60 and not having a single thing taste past “meh” and have as much go wrong as we had. I’m glad to mark this place off my list, and I’ll be seeing Koizi...

I placed my order through DoorDash. This was a special dinner. I ordered chicken Pad Thai.. it was EXTREMELY spicy and (I love spice) and bland. How those two go together makes no sense. Literally had no flavor. It was inedible and tossed. I also ordered Tom Kai. After opening the lid the soup smelled rancid. I've had Tom kai numerous times, it's NEVER smelled like that. I took a small sip because I'm brave. Didn't taste of coconut, lime or cilantro but was also spicy and you guessed it, bland. This was also tossed. I DON'T KNOW who's eating these dishes at this particular restaurant that they're still on the menu but this should be illegal. That's what I get for ordering Thai food from here. But I digress because I also ordered sushi. By the time I got to the sushi I was already disappointed so I was hoping that it was only up from there. I ordered the rocket roll that when made had extra EXTRA red onions on there, there was more red onion then anything else in the roll. Gross. I ordered the lovely roll, this was supposed to be topped with lobster salad, let me tell you that was comical. Both those rolls had exuberant amounts of Tobiko. 😩 And finally I ordered a spider man roll. This was the only thing I enjoyed and it had soft shell crab and I was eating the shells. Listen if you've read this far, run to another restaurant or only go IN to eat because God forbid you order take out and your stuck with a bill and inedible food 🥴 Talk about DISAPPOINTED. I may have ordered from here once before and forgot that it was nasty or something. I'm posting this review to remind myself to never...

If you're looking for an unforgettable sushi experience in Tampa, look no further than Ginza. Last weekend, I brought a party of 25 to indulge in their all-you-can-eat sushi, and I couldn't have been more impressed.

Despite our last-minute reservation for such a large group, the owner graciously accommodated us and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. From assisting with ordering to personally overseeing the serving process, her dedication to ensuring everyone had a fantastic dining experience was evident.

The service was impeccable, with each plate of sushi served fresh and promptly to every individual, despite the variety of orders within our group. Even with kids in tow, the staff seamlessly managed our party, ensuring everyone felt welcome and attended to.

Speaking of the food, it was simply divine. Each bite was a burst of freshness and flavor, leaving us craving more with every sushi roll. And let's not forget about the birthday celebration - they even assisted in serving the cake with precision cuts for everyone to enjoy.

Now, let's talk about the price. I was genuinely stunned when the bill arrived. With such outstanding service and quality food, I had to double-check to make sure they hadn't missed anything. Leaving with a few extra dollars in my pocket was the cherry on top of an already fantastic evening.

Whether you're a local or just passing through Tampa, Ginza is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't be...
