Employee gave us the wrong food order and then proceeded to SCREAM at me and accuse me of wanting free food when I called to ask for a refund of my original order that I did not receive. This restaurant isn’t convenient to my home anymore and is about a 20-25 minute trip each way, but I had stopped on my way home from a grocery store near the restaurant. When I explained to her that I couldn’t spend 45 minutes to an hour in rush hour traffic to go back for the correct order as I had a full vehicle of groceries, she proceeded to SCREAM at me again for wanting “free food”. I told her several times that I didn’t want the food I received and would be happy to give it to any employee that she would like to send to my home to pick up but she said that I had to come and get it since I “picked up the wrong food” - yes, the wrong food that they bagged and handed to us. After telling her that the $35 order wasn’t worth the headache and that I would be leaving this review of her customer service, she continued to SCREAM at me, at which time I hung up on her. After that, she had the nerve to CALL ME BACK and start...
Read moreUpdate: I tried them again with different foods, still a one star, entire famy agrees. GO TO China Gourmet instead. Teribble, i cook better with a blindfold on. Shrimp were almost the size of salad shrimp. Sauce tasted like corn syrup and ketchup.
I was looking forward to getting dinner bc the reviews are good. Rangoons were oily, which is fine, but they are super sweet. Why? The cream cheese green onion ones are sooo good. Why are these sweet? And the red dipping sauce was water thin. Shrimp kung Pau should be spicy and a little sweet, but this was just terrible, watery, and mostly crunch celery ( eww). Not many shrimp compared to China Gourmet ( my usual but they switched to sweet rangoons, too so I tried here instead). They messed up even after verifying with me I wanted ONE ORDER of spring rolls. No biggie those were the only thing I liked after spending $27 on crummy takeout just for myself. China Gourmet on County line road and Mansfield is such better. Sauces are rich and thick and full of flavor. ( the...
Read moreAfter a long trip and returning home, it was late enough that I was looking for something quick and decided on Chinese takeout near Wesley Chapel. I had placed an order over the phone pick up, and an additional item was added that I asked about and not ordered. That's fine, because I was hungry; however, The additional item was another $15-- bill total was $55 for one small Hunan chicken, one general tso, small orange chicken, and double roasted pork. I asked for fried rice with our meal, and got multiple servings of white rice. The lady doing the checkout was having a personal conversation the entire time, so I decided just to leave after paying instead of rectifying the mistake.
As for the food itself, the orange and general tso both had some pieces that were harder to chew, but overall it was okay. It's exactly what you would expect from typical USA take out...
