If I could give this place a zero star 0-5 I would. Only 2 managers on shift at lunch rush?!?! There should be:
1: A General Manager 2: 2 Assistant managers 3: At least 3-4 shift supervisors But no there was only 2 mangers.
1 to help the line with food, and the second to help drive thru with orders. So who the Heck is running shift?! Who the Heck is helping the customers with refunds and making sure customers are happy? I have been in customer service for a long time so I know. I went through drive thru and the girl who was ghetto with no customer service skills at all, which should have been a red flag for me didn't even greet us. They first got my order wrong at the window and I thought they had it corrected. Than I looked in the bag and it was still wrong. I called to speak to a manager and the girl on the phone who needs more customer service lessons said that the managers were busy!! WHAT BUSY!!! To busy to come talk to a customer who is basically paying there bills? Heck No! I WAS PISSED!! I went back to the drive thru and asked to speak to a manager, she said she was the manager I basically went off to her about the poor customer service in drive thru while holding up the line sense it was busy inside! I told her about my experience and she apologized. Yes I know the managers can only do what they can especially with a young shift staff to run also! But come on Taco bell you all suck! Hire more managers and fire all the one who don't give a crap! Just like what Walmart is now, known for only hiring ghetto people and now because of that has a ghetto clientele. You Taco bell are 75% there to being a restaurant I will never go back! especially to this location. I commend the manager for her understanding. Because she understood, I wish I had remembered her name. But Taco Bell you have a long way to redoing what you allowed to happen.
Good Luck
P.S upgrading the restaurant doesn't account for sucky customer service. Spend more money on upgrading your staff than upgrading...
Read moreThe food was at least halfway decent by dog food standards, but the service is absolutely terrible. The cashier was rude, demanding, and had a nasty attitude at people who are literally giving her money for a service she is hired for. Look, I don't expect celebrity restaurant levels of service here, but some common decency and respect wouldn't kill anybody. You could hear the ghetto trash employees hollering from the entrance every minute instead of making the food. A couple of burritos took almost 15 minutes to prepare. They were out of lids and out of most $1 tacos. Yep, you heard that right. Taco Bell ran out of tacos. On top of that, they would completely shut down the front doors to everyone after only like 3 people made orders because it was "too busy." A lady who walked here was locked out and told to use the drive-thru. Two of their own employees were even locked out. When they finally had time to let people in, they had to screw the door open again with a knife. When that didn't work, they resorted to propping the door open with a chair. Terrible experience and honestly a terrible lunch as well. Is it too late to mention there was a hair in my burrito? Well, there was. Avoid this place like the plague. Drive the extra mile to the one on North 50th St. It's much better than this dump. I'm surprised they aren't out of business. The fact that it's on Hillsborough is the only thing keeping this location from being an extension of the plaza...
Read moreOkay so I was being nice and giving this location the benefit of the doubt because they have fixed most orders that got messed up after I called n talked to a manager BUT with that being said, I don’t know any other place (except McDonald’s & they aren’t even as bad) where I have to deal with my order being wrong 90% of the time and right only 10% of the time. I have gone through the drive through many times and ordered online on the app and almost every time I order a CHALUPA the bread is not fried. My tacos are constantly wet like they were dipped in water, simple cheese rolls have had cold hard cheese on them, I’ve been given hard tacos when I ordered soft tacos. So CLEARLY the management does not train their staff well at all or they hire a bunch of illiterate people who cannot read (probably both). Also to add if you ever go inside expect to stand at the counter for 15-20 minutes with workers looking at you like you are strange, talking to other customers that are their friends or other clocked out workers. This place is full of people with no work ethic and it’s annoying to get such horrible customer service with almost every visit. Oh and the lobby ALWAYS looks like a tornado went through it although you never see someone...
