Rosie's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamworth

Being in the area for over 20 years, and watched the lines and packed parking lot every weekend, we had figured it was time to give Rosie's a try. They just redid the outside which looks great. But inside, it is just so bright with the fluorescent lights, it really hurts the feel I think they are going for. Staff is super friendly and over the top with communication. In regards to the breakfast, this is average. The meat lovers omelette was not that fluffy/airy omelette, little cheese, and the meats were put in at the last minute, so they were not cooked on the grill - just not how omelets are done. And this was a small omelette. Opted for the onion and garlic home fries, and again these were just not cooked or browned. The onions were not brown or caramelized, and just not cooked. There was two of us, and we both had the same issue. Where home fries can make or break a breakfast, these did not work for this breakfast. The coffee was super, super light. We will drink Folgers, to Dunk's, to Starbucks, we are not to picky, but yikes, this was watered down coffee, I don't know any other way to describe it. But again, the service staff was great...

Over the last month I Have been to Rosies three times and MacKenzie waited on me. She is a total joy when waiting on me being very personable telling me about her having her baby In October and trying to decide which name to plck. She showed me exactly what I wanted on menu as I described what I had before which was the three eggs, bacon, the excellant homemade corn beef hash, hash brown with onion and garlic and cinnamon toast. This meal was expertly and quickly prepared by Rosie and staff. My other favorite is the homemade corned beef hash eggs benedict. Both meals are total exctasty to palete. There is no better Restaurant. When I got there on Fathers day Sunday it was 12:15 and they close at 12 noon which I did not know and Rosie was out the door greeting people telling people they closed at twelve but if you want breakfast we will still serve you. What restaurant goes out of their way to serve you with excellant food and treats you like family???? Rosies Does!!!!! So if you want great food, great service and to be treated like family go to Rosies and have MacKenzie wait on...

While driving back to Mass from North Conway, NH we stopped by Rosie’s for a bite to eat & I must say this is the friendliest place we have ever been to the many times we’ve been to NH. Sandra our waitress could not have been more awesome. This was our first time there, but will definitely not be our last. The treatment we received with our 3 children was over the top, better than a 5 star expensive restaurant. The food was delicious & even though we were there past 2pm we were not rushed out. Everything from our steak & cheese to the frappes were absolutely great! Too bad I live almost 3 hours away otherwise I would be a regular at this wonderful place! Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Everyone was so friendly from the hostess who greeted us & sat us down, our waitress Sandra of course, & others waitresses around.
