Taps on Main NC — Restaurant in Tarboro

Used to be a great atmosphere, and enjoyed the place. After taking a break from being at the hospital with my wife and new baby, my two year old son an I went to have lunch at taps on main. He was sitting, eating his lunch while kicking his feet and the owners wife began snapping her fingers to get my attention. Once I looked over, she said he needed to stop kicking. I subsequently asked my son to stop, and closed my tab and apologized for the inconvenience. However, she wouldn’t even acknowledge me. I traveled from wilson to Taps on main in Tarboro just to continue to help support new small businesses. It was a busy Saturday night, the bar was packed, I did bring my 2 year old son with me, and we had a great time. I would say there are not many places in wilson that are similar to Taps and family or kid friendly.
