A dandy of a corner spot in the historic post office with tables in big windows for daydreaming and people watching. Cozier spots in adjoining building space. The two specialty lattes were decent but not particularly hot, bit of a bummer on a cold day. Even so everyone was friendly. They could probably drop the ice cream that brings the kids and families in no doubt to up the truer coffeehouse vibe and develop more actual bakery cases. I actually ate at the Church St. Tap & Deli, 101 Church St. which is located in basement of the same building as Tarboro Coffee House which is located at 439 N Main St in Tarboro, NC. Both of these businesses are locally owned and offer menu items that complement each other. Church St Tap & Deli offers a breakfast menu all day, and both lunch and dinner items for takeout or eat-in. Highly recommend giving them a try...good food...
