I’m not the one to complain or make a review like this but I feel it’s necessary with how I was treated as a paying customer. I had ordered a coffee, croissant sandwich/2 wake up wraps (all with crispy bacon and 2 orders of everything bagel minis. I had paid the man with cash in exact change, he handed me my coffee and told me my food will be out shortly. Saw everything was there and drove away. Drove a couple minutes down the rode when my son wanted his bagel minis. Broke it in half and it’s almost completely frozen inside and even cold on the outside (checked the other 3 and they were exactly the same) mind you I come to Dunkin quite often and get them every time. I know they get heated up and they come cooked and warm. So I turn around and go back. A young girl came to the window (explained what happened) and she said to give them back to her and she’ll just throw them back in the oven. I then told her that’s unacceptable. They’re opened and at least 10 minutes old now. She can have them back but I would like new ones cooked. While I was waiting I decided to check my other items to make sure the bacon was crispy as the minis hadn’t been cooked. Not to my surprise, the bacon was fatty. A couple minutes go by before receiving the new bagel minis and now the man who took my money came to the window and brought them. I expressed my concerns about my other food as well. He started to give me attitude in telling me the bagel minis come cold because it’s cream cheese and it’s not a big deal. I told him he was being very unprofessional, he then told me that I’m the one complaining about food and it’s not that serious. I said excuse me? It’s my money, I’m expect to get what I paid for. I don’t think my order was complicated. It was a problem on your part. I asked him what his name was and he goes “R.. J.. so you understand” like I’m some kind of idiot. He then stated the manager will tell me the same thing so it’d be pointless to get them” while rolling his eyes the whole time. Said he can remake the food. At this point I told him I don’t even want him too. Told him to just take the other food and give me my money back. Stated he needs the receipt for a refund (I paid in cash and never got one) but continued to tell me that he rung up my order and knows he gave me one but did NOT. So without it, takes another 5 minutes just to refund me $4. I kept the croissant (I took the fatty bacon off) because I already took a couple bites I was so hungry from not eating all day and the bagel minis were for my son who now was waiting well over 20 minutes before even getting them. The guy seemed very strung out as well. This was just absolutely terrible and not how you should treat customers. I will not be back to...
Read moreI asked for a couple of ice cubes for my tea because it was so hot, I burned my mouth. They charged me for that! I couldn't hardly eat after my mouth was burned. For was ok, nothing to write home about. Thought about suing but hubby said to forget it. I have a huge blister on the roof of my mouth after a small sip!!
Additional info: I ordered a sandwich deal which included hash browns and a coffee. I don't drink coffee, so I requested a tea. I was charged full price for the tea, as it was hot tea...if I had ordered ice tea it would have been included. Didn't find that out until after I paid. Anyway, took a sip of the tea, and it was so hot, I burned my mouth badly...blistered the roof of my mouth and tongue. I asked for some ice cubes, and they told me it would cost me extra!! I refused but hubby got them for me anyway. I then asked to speak with the manager. After about 10 minutes, she came out, but NOT to speak with me; she went to help out at the window. So, I called corporate headquarters right from the restaurant (I was a bit upset). They wanted to know who the manager was. I pointed at her and asked if she was the manager(while I was on the phone) and she got belligerent, said to me I shouldn't point my finger at her, and then said she didn't know where we were in the restaurant...we were the only ones in it at the time. Then she said she couldn't come out to talk to us because she was baking bagels. And started to yell at me. So I asked for her name, still on the phone with corporate...and she refused, said she was calling the store owner. Corporate took my information, and said someone will contact me within the next 24 to 48 hrs. The roof of my mouth has peeled now. My tongue still hurts but not as bad. And all I want at this point is a frigging apology!! In writing, from that very rude manager!! Poor people skills, never asked how I was doing or anything. Btw, this is the very first time I've ever left a review, and I'm sad it had to be one after such a horrible experience. I see other people have had bad experiences...
Read moreDisappointed yet again. Swung by today at 2pm for a large iced coffee before heading to NPR to pick the kids up from school. Not my usual dunkin but because I was in the area, I decided to stop. This is probably the 3rd or 4th time I've been here and all but one time has been a disappointment. Ordered my large iced coffee in the parking lot via the mobile app, pulled up, let them know it was me, then to the window I went. Waited a minute or so, not long, no one was there at 2pm lol. Was handed my coffee by a girl with a confused look on her face like she didn't understand the concept that I paid for my coffee via the app. She was wearing nasty plastic fast food gloves and when she handed me my drink and straw, it was all wet and nasty, including the straw paper that I had to peel off the straw because of how wet it was. She didn't hand me a receipt and told me thanks. I took my drink and drive off. Had to cross US19 so didn't take a drink until I was on the other side of the highway. Yuck! I almost spit it out. Watered down, clearly old, bitter coffee with barely any ice because it was all melted in the drink (let me reiterate that from order to pick up was about 3 minutes tops). Definitely not the right amount of sugar that I requested even tho it's written on the cup what i asked for. Again, very disappointed in this location as usual. My go to up the street in holiday in which I'm a regular would have never let this fly. I would have called but the last time I called was back in September or October, the last time u was there, and he wanted me to come back, being the drink back and get a replacement. Well, I don't have time for that and a $2.88 cup of coffee isn't worth the $2 in gas I'll use to turn around and go back. Moral of my story is....dont visit this location. The one a couple miles north in Holiday is so...
