Air was turned off which made for just an uninviting wait. The staff was super pleasant and welcoming, but jumping to the food - if you are looking for traditional lebaneese food/arabic food that your mom made this is not the place. Pretty bummed they don't make tabbouleh but thats an item made fresh and daily which this place doesn't do. Decided on a side of hummus and one chicken kabob for a total of $18 (if you order online it's cheaper about half the price don't ask me why assuming it's the cashier unfamiliar with the menu and register) Ate the food as soon as I got home, for the first time in my life (have been eating middle eastern food my entire life) I chocked on pita bread because it was so tough I couldn't even chew it enough to swallow. The hummus is lacking in not only flavor but presentation as well more like a soup consistency which you are better off buying cedars hummus at the publix. The chicken kabob wasn't bad, I had 3 pieces of small chucked chicken on mine but not worth the 9 dollars I spent on it. When asked which sauce you want, white sauce is always the answer. That garlicky stuff is the highlight of this fast service restaurant. Everything was prepared freshly and well seasoned in my falafel platter. The greens were fresh. The rice was good with the crispy falafel. The warm pita with the cool sauce rounded it out nicely. My companion's chicken shawarma wrap is one of his favorite foods. The seasoned fries were hot and crispy. Wraps and kabobs is a good choice when you don't want to go sit at a full service restaurant or if you want good take out. There are many vegetarian choices and kids meals. My only complaint is the drink selection. The water is pretty terrible from the tap and the Pepsi products and fountain iced tea are disappointing. I recently visited the best Mediterranean restaurant in Tarpon Springs and I must say, I was blown away by the delicious food and amazing service. We ordered a variety of dishes including kabab, falafel bowl, chicken teriyaki bowl, for kids fries & chicken and each dish was bursting with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is a hidden gem, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. I was also pleased to learn that the food is halal, which made the experience even better. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine that will leave your taste buds craving more.
