I am very saddened to report that this local establishment is lacking in organizational leadership.
Our experience today was very disappointing. Even though we are local residents for the past 30 years.
I ordered the chicken Greek wrap and explicitly indicated that I would not want it to have any tomatoes as indicated in the menu, since I am allergic to these, among other foods.
When my order arrived, I looked at my first half of the wrap and proceded to eat. It looked good and I was able to eat it along with the warm luke French fries it came with.
Upon picking up the second half of the wrap to eat it, I noticed small red diced pieces of vegetables. It looked like these where red peppers. Closer inspection revealed it to indeed being very small tomato pieces.
I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she was surprised and upset at this mistake. She immediately offered to replace it. I declined because I didnât want to eat more as I was felling full and was also upset I may have ingested food that will affect my health later today.
At the check out my wife explained to the cashier our experience with the wrap. By the way, my wife enjoyed the waffle she ordered.
The cashier was more like a âdeer in the headlights â and had nothing to say while proceeding to process our payment for everything we ordered.
My wife had to ask the cashier if she âunderstoodâ what my wife had said to finally get a reaction. And after completing the payment, the cashier stated that she could have given us a discount if she would have known earlier about the incident.
We asked to speak with the manager and the cashier said that they âdonât have a managerâ!!!! There is no one at the restaurant in charge. The ownerâs wife, who is Also a waitress as well âcomes in occasionally to waitress and is the one to give creditsâ.
Oh, yes the owner was in the office, but he doesnât want to be bothered since âhe doesnât speak Englishâ.
We are taken aback at this lack of leadership in a restaurant that has been in this area for so long.
The fact that customers canât share concerns or praises (which we often share at many establishments) tells us something is wrong at Rodies.
We wish Rodies customers will fare well in their future visits and donât need to contact the non-existing leadership here.
Now Iâll have to go and take my medicine to minimize the effects these tomatoes are having in me now.
By the way my rating is not due to the food or their mistake in preparing my order. It is due to the lack of leadership and courage to meet with customers who want to share...

I ordered the chicken fried steak, hash browns, 2 eggs up with an English muffin. Part of the food came out pretty quick, but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was not white gravy like it is supposed to be. It was instead kind of a tannish brown color and tasted odd. I think it was either old or partially burnt. They poured the gravy over portions of my hash browns and eggs. Needless to say I took one bite of my chicken fried steak and left the rest. I cut up my eggs and put them in my hash browns. That was a huge mistake. I should have tasted the gravy before I mixed in my eggs with the hash browns. We were almost done with our breakfast when the waitress brought out my English muffin and my wife's dry wheat toast. the easiest part of the whole breakfast and they couldn't get the toast or muffin out with the rest of the meal. This was a 30.00 meal for both meals. The cashier asked how our meal was and I was totally honest with her and told her the food and the service sucked. I left a 0.00 tip. Won't be returning there...
