Update Feb 2025, I don't know what happened to this place/location, but it has been gross, and my orders have been messed up the last 3 times I've tried them. I thought it was just a bad day for someone the 1st time, and we're all human, so mistakes happen, but now this being the 3rd time with zero improvement is disappointing. Not sure if it's a leadership or training issue or food quality (as quality as you can get for a fast food joint) but all three times, it's like the sub roll was soaked in water, completely soggy. On a turkey sub! Then a burger! And it wasn't grease. It was just wet. I've thrown out all 3 orders, and I guess I'm done now, lol. It's too bad. It used to be a pretty decent spot for a quick sub. Service is always nice, but food i is terrible. Sorry, guys. Do better.
Original Post How can you not like D'Angelo's? It's been there for years, and you can definitely notice a difference depending on who runs the store. For the most part, it's always been a great spot to get a quick sub, but Heather B. came on board not too long ago, and she stepped up the quality and consistency. Great addition to this location for sure. I think they just need to pay their people a little more, and the turnover won't be so high. Read moreWe ordered 4 subs at 11:15AM and we called at 1215pm to see if our order was in route and they said yup should be here any second. I then called at 1245 because our food still was not here and they said yet again our order was in route. I called back a litte after 1pm and come to find out that they never received our online order because the "system was down"Manager and staff was not apologetic or caring about our frustration. How do you tell a customer food is on it's way multiple times when you never received the order. He then took my order and gave me a total and asked how i was paying... i said oh no its on you guys. he then proceeded to say "oh this is how its going to work?!" Then told me that whenever his driver returns hell send them out. So needless to say, 3 HOURS WAITING FOR SUBS! RIDICULOUS!! They are RUDE, unprofessional, not understanding. Read moreNot great service at this location... they have burned my food and had to remake it and just always take much longer when getting my food to me. I hve never gotten food here that was on time or early I’ve always had to wait when ordering take out here. The food is on par with other dangelos but the service is sub par and I don’t recommend.
Edit: the owner replied to my review and I find that exceptional service. I perhaps should have spoken to a manager at the store or called after leaving to fix my non-satisfaction. I will definitely try this location again as the owner expressed concern in my unpleasant experience. That shows they care about their customers.
