So I originally asked for medium rare and that’s the first picture, if you ask me that’s rare..I’ve had medium rare and many other places and it all look this same this is the one location where it did not. I got it sent back to be cooked more after I got it back and took a bite it felt the same toughness on the inside (3rd pic). The lady who was working sat there and argued with me the whole time about what is medium and what’s not, she then proceeded to talk about me and how I don’t know how I want my food made. I told her to come talk to me about it then she rolled her eyes at me. Once I sent it back the first time I just asked them to cook it to medium to make it easier on everyone but it still didn’t come out that way, I maybe had 3 pieces that were medium on the second time out and that’s the second picture. Fantastic tasty sushi, excellent service, wicked good deals, clean small restaurant, and amazing quality make Yamoto the sushi place in this area. The waiter always kept our water glass full and was there whenever we needed him. The eel roll may be one of the tastiest eel rolls I've ever eaten. The all you can eat sushi roll deal has a very good quality of different rolls to try and none of them disappointed me or my wife. The first time we went home raving about our time at Yamoto and when we went back we came home raving again. Yamato offers local sushi lovers a closer option to Providence or Boston when the sushi craving hits. The menu offers plenty of normal options available elsewhere in regards to variety of appetizers, sushi and bento boxes. While pricing may be set at the higher end of a mid-level sushi house the food holds its ground in the mid level in quality. Definitely not bad but not the greatest as compared to places on Boston which we have gone to. Yamato is on par with other 3 star locations meaning great for local flare when the craving hits but not close to big city...
