Update: another delivery pickup with no order in sight. Employee went to check for my order and there was not a single employee working the togo/mobile area. We are given 10min windows to wait for food. After that window we can cancel and leave the order to wait. Hopefully this helps your company make better decisions.
Showed up early to Chipotle for a delivery pickup. First employee interaction was with mobile order area. Employee was not in a good mood and told me 10min. She then left and never came back and the mobile orders were left untouched. 25 minute wait and no order ever touched my hands. Second employee told me someone would be with me shortly even though i expressed i had already waited 25min. No clue where the manager was or who was orchestrating that terrible service. Are you serious? I'm physically in your building, and you're telling me I have to pull out my phone, go to your website, place an order, and then wait for you to make it, as if I'm not here? The level of inefficiency and pure absurdity is astounding.
This isn't a custom, off-menu request; it's a standard item. The ingredients are right in front of the employees. Yet, because of some baffling corporate rule, a simple transaction becomes a ridiculous, pointless obstacle course. I came in at 9pm on a Tuesday for them to basically be closed completely. The close time is 11pm, let me mind you there is 2 employees working. All the bins were empty, they gave me old steak sitting in a bin under a table, the lady that made my food clearly didn’t give a single crap about her job or that there was a line and she was just strolling around like she was on break. The lady that finally checked me out after 7 minutes of awkwardly standing there was clearly high as a kite on pills. She had no clue that my food had been sitting there for quite some time then proceeded to ask if we had been helped lol this place is extremely understaffed and the workers are clearly under qualified.
