Never again will I order online and tip ahead of time. Said order would take 35 minutes so I showed up and waited an additional 45 minutes! Total well over an hour. And I tipped 25% for that? Staff completely overwhelmed. Worst service I’ve ever had from this place.
UPDATE: Gave them another chance, and here's what happened a month later - Ordered through Door Dash and it arrived quickly, but one of the entrees was missing. We called, and they offered to give us the meal OR a credit. Excuse me? Good restaurants will give both - comp the meal but give it to you anyway. So even though we'd already paid for delivery, we had to drive up to the restaurant on this nasty, rainy day to pick up the meal they'd forgotten. They offered us not a refund (because we paid through Door Dash), but a store credit. Since I doubt we'll ever be back, the credit will just sit there. There are way too many great Asian restaurants in this area to tolerate this kind of poor service. After 20+ years, we're finding other places to go and will never be back to Original Wok.
Lesson learned. Second chances are fine, but there will be no...
Read moreI have a hard time even giving this a single star! Chinese is our favorite carry out food. So, since this is fairly close we tried it last night. I must say with great certainty that this was the WORST ever! The smell of our dishes, chicken fried rice and curry chicken, smelled like dead meat that had been cooked a week ago! Both dishes were stinky and bland. The CFR had rice, chicken that looked boiled, and a couple flakes of onion and mung bean sprouts and nothing else. Strange that is smelled so rank and yet had virtually nothing in it! My husbands curry chicken was extremely bland and smelled horrendous. MSG wouldn't have made it better, but maybe a new chef would work!! Twenty eight bucks...
Read moreThis place has really fallen off. Used to be over priced but pretty good. Now it is obvious they are trying to cut corners or I don’t know what is going on. Got the weirdest pad Thai I have ever had, with broccoli and no egg? Tiny egg rolls that are super chewy because there is very little filling and the wrapper is wrapped around it several times. Peking up the street is much better. Meats are usually over cooked and just generally very poor quality now. Not worth the $$$ anymore, sad. Last few times weren’t great but I think this is the final straw and I...
