I love writing reviews for places that deserve them whether good or bad. Bay Bayz definitely deserves this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review!!! My fiancé and I drove to Bastrop from Austin to visit the state park and got hungry. Originally wanted bbq but the food truck we were going to stop at was closed! That’s how I stumbled on Bay Bayz. The truck had good advertising because looking at the pictures, I was like “that crab looks good and flavored”!! So I asked my fiancé if we could have that. Well she said no she didn’t want to eat seafood from a food truck. So we went back to the car and looked for other options. Well I was still thinking about the crab and wasn’t taking no for an answer! I told her that I was ordering there and she could order elsewhere lol! And I did! And he did not disappoint! I ordered boiled shrimp, corn, potato, and Sausage boil on Saturday. It was undercooked. I admit I did not check before I left. I’ve always been satisfied with it in the past. I returned to get a 4-piece fish meal with fríes and hush puppies. I only had two pieces of fish and the container filled with French fries. I ordered from them on DoorDash a fried fish and shrimp platter and an order of tartar sauce all for $30. They were out of stock on the fish and shrimp but did not tell me or cancel my order they just silently refunded the fish and shrimp to my bank which takes a few days.
