Stopped in for dinner since we didn't feel like cooking. Wish we would've just stayed home. The owner sat us, and he was very nice and I do hope he can figure out what happened in his kitchen because I'd like to come back, the decorations were my style and I loved the art on the walls. Right when we sat down we could feel that the vibe in this place is a little weird. I don't even know how to put it into words, but the air just felt heavy and thick. We got mozzarella sticks for an app and they were the only thing we could finish. We were as excited as someone could be for the soup bar, it looked clean, the soups were actually hot. But we couldn't finish our soups. My boyfriend got the chicken noodle and said he ate most of it because he was hungry but that it didn't have much taste and left a film in his mouth. I LOVE clam chowder and was happy they had some but it didn't taste anything like how it should. I had two bites and couldn't have anymore because honestly I couldn't make myself swallow more. At this point we were talking about just paying our bill before our food even came out so we could leave and get good food somewhere else. But I like to hope for the best and decided to at least try the dinner. We got a chicken salad and a spinach pie, and we couldn't take more then a bite of either dish. The chicken on the salad was very rubbery and the salad itself was dripping in water. There was an actual puddle on the plate. And the spinach pie was awful, to be honest I couldn't even swallow it so I had to pull out my napkin and spit it out. I ordered it with a rice pillaf and when it came out there was a baked potato instead, but I didn't even care when I saw it because I was that hungry lol. It wasn't even fully cooked, the middle was still raw. We quickly paid our bill and got the heck...
Read moreThe positives: Very clean, friendly staff, plenty of room to sit and enough space in the dining area where you do not feel like you are sitting on top of each other. Was acknowledged as soon as we walked in and seated. This was my first time in this resteraunt. Food: I ordered a vegetarian omelette breakfast, and the other person with me ordered the breakfast bar. He seemed to enjoy the breakfast bar. My breakfast was a different story. My omelette came out pretty quick. However, within the first few bites, the omelette was runny, very little cheese, not hot. When I lifted the omelette up from the plate, it was just watery underneath. The hash browns, parts of it were burnt, and what wasnt burnt was mushy and it wasnt hot as well. The waitress was nice, asked how everything was and I very politely told her I would like to return my breakfast as I explained to her why. She said she would take it off the bill which was extremely considerate of her. I then ordered the chicken lemon rice soup. It was ok, not hot at all. Overall, I wouldn't rule out trying this place again. I just hope next time, the next meal...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would! Worst experience in a restaurant ever! My son got a very simple order just an egg and sausage. Egg wasn't even scrambled or cooked good. I got a mushroom burger. The server asked me 3 times how I wanted it cooked I told her medium. It was disgusting. You can cook a frozen burger any other way then well done. It was cold the cheese wasn't even melted. The server never came back for me to tell her. When she finally did come back I told her how bad it was, all she did was brush it off! My water had a bunch of stuff floating in it too by the way. We then waited another 10-15 min for her to bring the bill to us. I finally got tired of waiting and just stood up at the register to pay. After waiting another 5 min for someone to come the server brought our check to the cashier whom I am assuming is the owner/manager. I told him about what happened and he didn't seem to care. Told us our total was $15. I'm not even sure why!?! Paid and left for the last time ever! All those problems and we were the only people there! It's a shame really because the one in Dearborn is...
