Sam's Yum Yum Donuts — Restaurant in Taylor

HORRIBLE SERVICE! EXTREMELY RUDE! The older lady that works everyday is very rude. This is not my first interaction with her my family goes there a lot and normally when she's rude me and my daughter just brushes it off. But on Saturday morning 12/14 she was beyond rude. We pulled in the drive thru I ordered my same order I order every time I go there it's the same order. I placed my order and waited I always pay with my card and pay the extra for using my card. She rolled her eyes, she's very short and has no interest in how she treats her customers. She opened the window and handed us the donuts then she came back with the breakfast sandwiches. My daughter opened the bag and the order was wrong. So I sat there for a minute and she came back and opened the window my exact words were "my order is wrong, I ordered the turkey crossaint egg and cheese breakfast sandwich". She's replied in a nasty manner " NO YOU SAID". I replied I always order the same thing. She snatched the bag and as I was informing her I just want my money back she slammed the window while I was talking. I pulled forward to the door and got out to go inside, I walked in and told her I just want my money back and in a rude tone she replied " I don't know how to do refunds on a card". So I stood there while she threw the old sandwich bag on the counter and started to remake my order. While I'm standing there a car pulls up to the window he sat there for a while then he blew the horn she walked to the window snatched it open and as he placed his coffee order she responded "I'm still busy your gonna have to wait" and closed the window. She's so rude and needs more training on how she should handle her customers that choose to spend their money there. That was my families last visit at that establishment. Why spend my money somewhere to get treated the way she treats her customers. Maybe they need a new training program to enhance...

As soon as we got out of our car we were stared down by some locals sitting in the silent donut shop. No music. Only the sound of your own fear & a local farmer sipping his coffee. The donuts tasted day old. Definitely not fresh. Ordered a ham, egg, & cheese breakfast sandwich, but he misheard me & made me an egg & cheese instead. No ketchup or condiments of any kind for your breakfast sandwich. Only salt & pepper, that they keep behind the counter. Apparently their are local condiment thieves, cuz they have none to offer, & the salt & pepper is heavily guarded.

We sit here waiting for our ride... still no music. Only the background sounds of rudimentary American history facts on repeat.

Needless to say, I never expected this coffee shop near the Detroit Airport to be such an experience. Not the experience I was hoping for necessarily, but the prices are reasonable for what you're getting, I suppose. Really regret not just going to the...

🤢 SAWDUST RINGS OF SADNESS - AVOID! 🤢 Review: OMG, where do I even BEGIN?! 🤬 I was craving a donut, something soft and sweet, you know, like an actual DONUT. What did I get at Yum Yum? The DRIEST, most disgusting excuse for a pastry I have EVER encountered in my entire life. 🌵 Calling these things "donuts" is an insult to bakers everywhere.
