Well I had a God Awful experience at this location today and STRONGLY urge anyone considering eating here to go to another Taco Bell location. Poor treatment and DISCRIMINATION against customers is a completely unacceptable behavior practice, especially coming from a business that has a long history of treating their customers well. I've had trouble here in the past (just over a month ago) when the store wouldn't honor an advertisement, sent out by TACO BELL, causing me to go to another location to get my order. Today when I entered the store and attempted to give them my order, I was told that I have to place it myself on the computer kiosk they have. Now I don't even own a computer and I wouldn't even be using THIS technology to do a review if we had telephones on our walls as we did in years gone by. At any rate, I explained that I would not be using their computer and just wanted to place my order and pay for it. I was told again that I had to do it myself. (Why don't the drive thru people have to come inside to order first?) So I asked, "Are you refusing to serve me because I won't use your computer?". I was told that they can send someone out to help me. I told them to get them out here so I can order. At that point the same person I had been talking with came from around the counter and went to the kiosk. I began to tell her my order and she said that she wouldn't do it but she would point to what I needed to do. So I told her that if she was refusing to serve me because I won't use their computer, I want to see the Store Manager. At this point she identified herself as the Manager. I knew then that she would not ever help me (because that's what REAL management is supposed to do right) so I told her that this is clearly discrimination and I asked for the phone number to corporate headquarters so I could call customer service and register a formal complaint. She responded by saying that this is what Taco Bell Corporate told her to do. I responded by saying; "Taco Bell Corporate told you to intentionally not serve your customers?". Then she, intentionally, proceeded to give me the number to the Taco Bell HR department which takes calls from employees and DOES NOT handle customer service. So I, once again, had to go to another Taco Bell location where none of these issues ever (nor should they) arise. Now I'm wondering when Taco Bell Corporate leaders decided to make it an INTENTIONAL policy to clearly DISCRIMINATE against those of us who do not partake of technology and, ALSO, those in the public who are HANDICAPPED and are UNABLE to use the technology. For example, if I were paralyzed, a paraplegic, quadriplegic, etc., etc. and couldn't even reach/touch the kiosk. I thought about (and I still am considering it) contacting the local news media who love this kind of story. Discrimination is a seriously rampant problem plaguing our country today and now, to think, Taco Bell is jumping on board to encourage it even more. Now, do I believe for a moment that Taco Bell Corporate offices ordered this Manager ONLY (the other stores don't do this nonsense) to practice discriminatory activities and alienate their customers? No, of course not. But rather, I DO BELIEVE that this is the action of someone who has NO BUSINESS in a managerial position and is clearly suffering from Interectal Cranial Insertion. Perhaps her corporate headquarters can help extricate her from this position, or at least give her an ample infusion of "gray matter". I would love to hear from Taco Bell Corporate offices regarding this practice at the Ecorse road location, and find out what disciplinary actions will be taken to sanction the dysfunctional management that works there. Read moreThought my Fiancé and I would try it there last night cause I just got off work and he was hungry and we hadnt been there since they had re-opened. We ordered a chalupa NO tomato, and 2 of the new chicken chalupa wrap or what ever and he wanted NO tomato on his but for the two he didnt want no tomato he GOT tomatoes! I cannot even describe how angry I was because he is allergic to tomatoes and we had requested them off yet you guys still put it there! I tried calling the store lastnight 3 times and all it would do was ring! Tried again today and it did the same exact thing. Also, our pop was just full of carbonation and no syrup. We had to turn around for those before we knew about the totatoes but when we wanted them replaced the manager was literally questioning if i was telling the truth. Like yes, do u want to try my drink u gave me? And then they didnt give my Fiancé his credit card back cause it didnt have his name on it becauae its a Plasma card. Also, I asked for a reciept and the manager OR the crew member didnt want to give it to me!? Why!? Because they messed up on our orders and i cant go back there and complain about it!? This place needs a huge help and what u have for night shift in 2-5-17 is NOT the crew u should have. They suck. They need more training, SPECIALLY the manager. She was rude as hell! Read moreUPDATE 09/02/18 12:28am Still have the experiences of staff occasionally forgetting or incorrectly make parts of the order. However, I’m updating my review because of the late night service. This isn’t the first time I’ve done drive thru at night and every time it takes much longer than it should. Tonight is beyond ridiculous. I have been waiting in line for over 15-minutes. I still haven’t been able to make my order, I’m not even close to speaker. The only reason I have been able to move up is because 2 cars left the line. Otherwise, the line hasn’t moved, AT ALL. You would guess that there is only one worker taking orders, making the food, bagging, and collecting payment based on how incredibly slow the service is. This is pathetic customer service and certainly doesn’t live up to FAST food expectations. I got in line at 12:15am. It’s now 12:42am. I STILL have not been able to order yet.
Just reopened and they are already messing up orders. Paid for steak, got chicken. Paid for extra sauce, didn't get it. Asked for no sauce on another item, got the sauce on it. Found a very black piece of burnt something wrapped in with one of my items. Soda was really watered down. Very...
