We had our daughters 11th birthday here today. They promise an event host but they did not actually provide thatin my opinion because traditionally an event host is dedicated exclusively to your party. We did not have that experience as our host was very heavily divided between our party and a very large youth group. We requested 4 ADDITIONAL pizzas on top of whatever would come with the party- we got 4 total pizzas. I left my child's party hungry because I was only able to eat one slice. 3 of my guests were uncomfortable eating because they saw my dismay at only having gotten 4 total pizzas. For 13 bowlers and 15 adults. We received ONE pitcher of water. It took 40 minutes and 3 requests to get a second pitcher of Pepsi. It took 15 minutes to get the lanes turned on for the party. The pizza came about an hour and a half into the party. It was late. I asked for the fans to be turned on 4 separate times- they never were.
I am sure you're surprised that after such a stressful lack luster experience I still give this party 4 stars.
The management team seemed to also be disappointed in the experience we had and made sure to discount our party greatly to repay us for the disappointment. Was grateful for the feedback and agreed that they needed more staff to deal with parties or to promise LESS out of their event hosts. The cost of the party for what you get is already very affordable compared to any other venue that we have used. As a result of the lack of host I was very stressed and did not get to enjoy the party... because I had to host it myself. I had to clean the party up myself. I managed our time frames. I served the cake , pizza and pop by myself, along with a few of my guests. The "host" did manage to help set up the party and did eventually bring cups, plates, napkins and silverware to our party. About an hour in... There was a miscommunication which resulted in too few pizzas and too little pop for the quite large party that we had. Overall the children had a ton of fun, we had plenty of space on the lanes, plenty of table room and plenty of time to enjoy the company.
If I was this business, I would suggest that if the event wants a party host to be exclusively theirs for the duration of the party to charge and additional party-host flat rate. That amount pays the company to pay the employee for being exclusive to the party. I would have happily paid MORE to have been able to sit back and relax like I was promised when I booked. If they do not want to provide a host exclusive to the party, I think they should not mention having a party host. To circumvent disappointed customers in the future. Personally, I do not think I would choose to have an additional party at this venue again unless I was needing a more...
Read moreI had a birthday party here about a month ago at three because I was able to put down any type of deposit to hold my spot so I gave them in $100. He wasn’t very friendly at all. Let me just start by saying that I gave the deposit about a month before the party just so I can secure my spot, and on the day of the party they give you a party room mind you they don’t have pizza or anything like that you have to buy a party platters of food, which is very very expensive after the party which whoever they had hosting the party. I think her name was Elizabeth she didn’t even really coming to the party room but to bring maybe a refill or two at the end of the party I didn’t realize that my total was over $300 and they added $60 gratuity tip to my bill. I wasn’t going to say anything but I just figured with today’s economy that’s a bit steep. They were supposed to have table Klos on the tables and she wasn’t decorating until I got there 10 minutes till the party. I just think that maybe they should have better options for food. It’s $13 a bowl or I believe in that just includes shoes and two games of bowling. It just was real unorganized that I will never have a party here again that’s for sure maybe even take all the stuff out of the party room that you guys are storing over there off of the bar it seems to have a odor and some of the drop ceiling should be replaced.. Overall, it does seem like a nice bowling alley. Maybe just some new updates they seem like they...
Read moreThis place is great for the price. Only $9 something for shoes and two games on Saturday night. The only problem I have with this place is there rules at the bar. My friends and I were bowling 3 games one Saturday night and had 7 people, so it was easily going to take at least two hours to bowl. Went to the bar to get some beer and figured since I was going to be there a while I might as well get a bucket of bud light for myself. The bartender grabbed it and then said I can't sell you each your own individual bucket which is only 5 beers, unlike some bars I been to where it is 6 beers in a bucket. She said "a bucket is a little much." I get that they don't want drunk and belligerent customers who are stumbling down a lane while trying to bowl, but I just find it insulting that they try to limit you when its a bar. Long story short I won't be drinking while I go bowling here anymore. I'll wait till after bowling and drink at a real bar, not to mention $14 something for 5 bottles of bud light. To make matters worse I have an older friend who bowls in a league here and I asked her and she said they never give her a hard time when she gets herself a bucket every night she bowls on her league. So maybe there just biased against open bowlers and more lenient towards league bowlers. I'm 23 years old and shes in her 40/50's so...
