I looked online and found a spa fuse I was looking for. This location popped up and said instore pick up available today. Headed to the location with the fuse in hand, walk in and ask the front counter if they carried the fuses instead of roaming around the entire store. The check out guy seemed unsure but recommend an aisle, another young lady walked up and confidently said we don’t carry those. I mentioned the in store pick up being available today online. She replied with you have to order it and it will come Thursday. She answered so quickly and confidently my boyfriend even said, she knows what she’s talking about huh? Discouraged I left the store, walked to my car and ordered the fuse. What do you know, it said in store pick up expected TODAY. Walked back into the store scanned the aisles and what else do you know i find the fuse within a minute. I went to the front desk with the email confirmation and fuses. I essentially pulled my own instore pick up order. I mention how discouraged I was in the customer service and the woman didn’t quite seem to care. I would not recommend. A simple check of the fuse aisle by the staff would have sufficed if there was incertainty, but instead she pushed me out the door with her “we don’t carry that” response and all along there was one on the shelf, clearly meant for me. Every time I go in this place it's just fantabulous, the people are just incredible. Then I build a lot of custom air rifles and guns and things like that. They always have the best selection of drawers filled with goodies compared to Home Depot or Studz hardware on things like that. My favorite part about this great Ace hardware is when I couldn't drive. They deliver the feed and stuff from my animals when I do Wildlife videos and I have to rely on everybody and I don't like doing that. I just am not that type of person, so for $25 they'll deliver me whatever I need usually the same day and it's well worth it than have to owe somebody something. Like I said, this place is just phenomenal to me. I don't write all the reviews on it because I'm there probably three times a week. Very disappointed by this visit this evening. Went to my local hardware store to find out that they were closing in 5 mins, no problem. Looking through nuts and bolta section for the right size when was told by an associate "You know what you are looking for? You know we close in 3 minutes." While checking out i witnessed another associate ask 2 other people while they were walking in "Do you know exactly what you are looking for?" Then watched the same person tell someone ths they are closed and turned them away. Guess i will be going to the big box retailer down the road from now on. Such a shame and we wonder why small businesses are closing, no customer service anymore. Update recieved a phone call and email from store management promising this is not normal service and re-training will be done to employees. Will go back to check it out...
