Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Taylor

Today was our second and last time ordering from Tubby’s. The first time it was good, ready when it said it was ready and correct . Today was a complete failure. After ordering, we received the message letting us know it would be ready at 5:20 pm. As I was driving there, I received a text informing me the meal was ready. Upon arrival at the sneaker, as the “Drive thru only” sign was lit, I waited a short time and was told to move to the window , where I was addressed after a minute and told my cheese curds were in the fryer, it’ll be a minute. “Cool, fresh curds”… so in 5 minutes the gentleman brought me a bag and said “here’s your order” and walked away. After looking in the bag, it was obvious my wife’s fries were missing, I opened the window and got his attention again. Another 5 minutes and I was on my way. When I got home, my order was ver clear, in the comments it was spelled out but I got NO cheese . I hadn’t had Tubby’s for quite some time and thought I’d give them a shot. The french fries were nice and crispy. The Mac and cheese bites weren’t terrible but don’t stay hot for very long. I love a gooey interior but these had cooled quickly. I also feel like I was conned into getting the XL Philly sub by being told it was bigger than the large jumbo. It wasn’t. I also had mushrooms added but they were forgotten. The taste was also nearly nonexistent. Very bland. This will be the last time I get a cheesesteak here, especially when Jersey Mike’s is just a little further up the street. A far superior sandwich in every way. A giant is larger in amount of meat and cheese and veggies as well as size. Even getting double meat like I usually do only makes it about two dollars more than the Tubby’s XL sub. On October 25, 2024, I placed my order online which requires payment. When my daughter went in to pickup the order she was told she needed payment. I placed my order online to conserve on time since we had an appointment. Please retrain your staff. It's bad enough I am paying $43 for 3 regular sandwiches and I'm not dining in and did not order a side or drink. Plus, that bread is not their normal bread. I know the owner owns the Scooters next door which I stopped patronizing because on 3 occassions I bought hot tea with sugar and the employees didn't even stir the tea so all of the sugar was sitting at the bottom.
