Burger Yard — Restaurant in Taylor

Seen all the beautiful pics and decent reviews so I figured it would be good...boy I was dead wrong. $32 bucks for a soggy cheesesteak sandwich and a side of fries. So, I ordered delivery, it got here super fast via doordash. So no complaints there and they weren't the cause of issues with food. I asked for "plenty" of ketchup for a full side of fries-they sent 4 tiny packets that contained a tablespoon combined at most! REALLY?! that being said, fries were crispy and hot with good flavor. The cheesesteak on the other hand doesn't even classify as a gas station sandwich let alone from an actual "cheesesteak" restaurant. This is supposed to be your flagship sandwich, hence the name... cheesesteak! So I ordered mine with extra cheese and mushrooms.... DEFINITELY not any extra cheese...hell, barely any cheese on it for that matter, and the mushrooms??? Ya, what mushrooms....maybe 4 to 8 tiny pieces on the whole sandwich! Oh wait...sandwich is too good of a word for this disappointment. Soggy Sub, ya that's closer, SOGGY!!! LIMP! POOR EXCUSE of a sogwhich! Now if I only paid like 3 bucks I'd have no room to complain. But this disaster cost just under $32, I expect to get what I paid for. I definitely DO NOT recommend unless you enjoy throwing away your hard...

This should be a 2 star but I am rating Lefty's a 3 star because I am partially to blame for my orders. I visited Lefty's twice in the past two weeks. #1 The Grim Reaper does not live up to its name as a spicy sub. The sub is mild spicy at best and it was drowned in mayo! Really? This is gross and my fault for not catching it as one of the ingriedients. I like mayo, but not with spicy food. That is a bizzare combination! The sub was overloaded with mayo, lettuce and tomato that drowned out the spicy flavors of the sub. Setting aside the mayo, the 12" combo cost $18.50! Shamefully over priced! #2 The chicken wings are breaded for little kids. This is my fault because I knew it before I ordered them however, if you are going to serve breaded chicken wings they should at a minimum be serve crispy with light breading. The wings I received were a mushy mess of breading on chicken bones. If you order online you will recieve a text when your order is ready but that doesnt mean it is actually ready. placed a large online order through door dash, there was no option to add a sides of ranch or the cherry pepper sauce. So after placing the order, we called to request they be added to our order. The man who answered the phone was incredibly rude, saying they cannot do that because it's an extra charge, so we offered to pay for additional charges for condiments over the phone with a card. he was still rude and refused, insisting he must get his money for it, and that he can't run a card over the phone because he was "too busy". we were making a larger order for our essential front line workers at our healthcare facility. we will not be ordering again, i wasn't aware a 49 cent cup of ranch was something to cause this big of an issue. Its unfortunate because the one in Ypsilanti is great, the taylor location has AWFUL customer service. We also didn't even get everything we ordered, can't even get through to call them back, way to steal my money. seems like maybe they took the fries away to pay for the ranch, but we of course didn't...
