If I could give zero rating I would for the bad customer service and overpriced pastry compared to other Mexican bakeries. I went there because a friend referred me for their tres leches. I went there asked for a small round cake, the price on it was $35. It was just plain, nothing on top no decoration or anything. I asked the cashier if they could add some fruits on top for decoration and add some flavor I guess because I didn’t want it just a plain white tres leches. She replied “of course”. I was not informed that how much extra I was going to be charged and it was my mistake not to ask as well how much extra was going to be. I knew there was going to be an extra charged but, Never crossed my mind that I would be charged $13 for adding like 3 sliced strawberries, half a can of sliced peaches, 1 sliced kiwi, 5 raspberries, and like 10 blueberries. The cake was $48.00 plus tax almost $50.00 for a small cake. “NOT WORTH IT “ They didn’t even take more than 10 minutes to add the fruit.
I sent a review to them via their payment option, and they responded very rude to me, saying “ I’m pretty sure you were informed of the extra price. we can not give things for free in this economy, we don’t get anything for free and we have to pay our employees…”
I thought this is very rude, unprofessional, uncalled for, I just gave them the feedback so they could trained their employees properly and educate the clients as to what to expect. I didn’t want anything for free, I am a business owner myself and I know how hard it is to make it in this economy, but there are so many businesses out there competing and if you don’t standout from the rest of them, you will sink!!! Customers will go buy, take their money where they are treated nicely, with respect, and they are not ripped off. Your products are not even good and fresh, they are just OK!!! I’ve had better. But anyway, hopefully you will take this feedback now and not be rude again and provide best practices and best...
Read moreWe had a last minute birthday party for our niece and we wanted a bunch of goodies. Due to good reviews and the only place that we found that sells a big tiramisu, we came here. We bought a large tiramisu for $50, which isn't bad. The cake was okay. It could've used more marscapone cream. We asked for them to write Happy Birthday on it. It took a long while for the gal to finish. When she came back, it was written in red gel, in smallish letters and placed off kilter. Kind off to the side, but not really. It looked terrible but we all had a good laugh because it really bugged us and brought out the OCD in people. We got conchas, they were dry. We got these tiny empanada things that were supposed to have caramel, inside there was barely inside. We got wedding cookies and they were flakey and good. We weren't fans of the chocolate chip cookies, they tasted funky. We got one white and 2 pink powdered cookies and those were good. We tried a slice of white cake with pink frosting and it was good. Lastly, we had a slice of dulce de leche cake in a small plastic container. It was moist and pretty good but tasted more like coffee than caramel. Their prices seem to be higher than other Mexican bakeries. They do have a good variety of baked goods. The cashier was nice. It just wasn't good enough for...
