1/27/19 I drove to a McDonald’s on 5400s and 3900 west in kearns utah 84118 at 3, a teammate had me sit at window for 5 minutes before letting me know she isn’t “open and would be able to take orders in or around 15 minutes” my understanding is mcdonalds is a 24 hour restaurant, I was paying cash, even if a system is down to restart a register for start of day they should be able to take cash orders, it’s simple remember what you sold to the 3-7 cars it takes for your system to restart. Sure no card orders but there should be cash. Also don’t leave a customer waiting for you to tell me you’re closed. You’re in the building, you hear and are notified I’m at the drive through why make me wait to tell me no? When asked why they weren’t taking cash orders they said every excuse under the book, short staffed, it’s difficult when you’re busy (mind you I was the first of three customers to be turned away) I waited the 15 minutes to get old dry hamburgers and a askew hotnspicy, I do not care the cost of the meal, I care about how I was treated. It’s unbelievable that restaurant that should pride themselves on the business and continued customers they have would treat people this way and give them this quality of food I did get a remade chicken sandwich be cause I noticed in their parking lot but the one they gave me I didn’t even feel comfortable eating because it could have been spit in, by the demeanor the person in charge had with me. Read more2nd Update: August 31st 2019. No improvement. If anything it was worse today. I came in during a non busy hour and it still took a ridiculous amount of time to get two sausage burritos, two hot N spicy' and 20 piece chicken nuggets. Ordered around 6:30 p.m. and got the food around 7. Then a physical fight broke out between two female employees in front of a bunch of customers waiting for food. This place is ridiculous. Management must have some really low standards here. I recommend avoiding this McDonalds.
Update: Has not improved. Today (June 5th 2019) it took 30 minutes to get the food. Hotcakes and two sausage burritos.
Service at this location is disappointing. That is the nicest I can put it. They take their time with the orders. I went in twice this week and both times the place had few people, yet it took 20 minutes to get my order each time. I asked if this was how long it normally took and they gave the excuse that they had few people and it was busy. I can be understanding, I like to give people benefit of the doubt; however, I have worked at McDonald's and I know what it's like and how long it takes to get an order and how much it takes to slow them down. They had no excuse, they simply took their time. They walked back in forth like winding down for bed, not like they were at work. Get to second window, an handed my food. I asked for 2 spicy chicken with no mayo, plus a other food. So check an there is mayo, I tell girl at window it's wrong she was nice apologises an says just one min. She was the only nice thing about my visit. Then the manager from across the way tells why is that car not moving? The sweet girl says these are supposed to be no mayo. Then manager walks over rudely takes them from the sweet girl, an say tell her to pull to spot one. Sweet girl says please pull forward an we will be right out. Half hour later, 17 cars later I'm still in stall one. I go in an ask for my 2 sanditches which the rest of my order is now all cold. The manager is yelling why is it taking so long, an yelling at another employee to go in the back an see what is taking another employee so long. I Get it an walk back out to my car.
