The name says 'bakery,' but Patis Bakery is more like a cafe, pizzeria (lite), and a bakery rolled into one. The long window of treats and eats attests to this, with the pastries and baked goods greeting the eyes first. Further down the line, there are prepared pizzas, and even further, there are sandwiches and signs posting the specials of the day. My husband and I initially walked in with the intention of grabbing a croissant, but we couldn't help ourselves and nabbed a spicy salmon sandwich to share.

Ordering was a cinch, and since we were dining in, we were directed to grab a seat. Seating space is aplenty, with an entire half of the interior dedicated to tables. On a weekend morning, there were lots of patrons visiting, and even then, there were lots of seats for us to choose.

I'm typically a purist at heart, but there was no stopping me once I saw there was a s'more croissant available. If and when you order one for yourself, they'll ask you if you want it warmed, and the answer is absolutely yes. The marshmallow got melty and gooey, and I gasped when I saw the chocolate inside. It's like a naughty pain au chocolat, and while it was a little on the sweet side for my own preferences, I could see this going over well for those chasing cavities. The spicy salmon was also surprisingly decent, with crunchy bread and salmon that was dressed with a good kick.

I noticed there were some other tables with lingering parties, who had clearly long finished their food but weren't being pressured or chased away. I'd recommend Patis Bakery for those who might want to work or sit with friends for a longer time in...

So I went with my parents on MLK Day 2024 and arrived there at around 1:30. First of all it was mobbed with only one person running the register. We had to wait 15 minutes after we ordered for a table to clear up. We ordered 2 custom personal pizza pies and 1 tuna on croissant sandwich. After sitting down for 10 minutes we get called that the croissant is ready and the pizzas will be ready soon. After 20 minutes of waiting for both pies to arrive my father went to the one of the ladies behind the counter and asked what was going on and she said she’d check right away. She looked very annoyed and spoke to another person behind the counter and then went back to the kitchen. She then comes back and takes a bunch of peoples orders then tells us that the pizza chef didn’t see our order and only saw the croissant so didn’t start making them yet and said she ā€œcould give us a refund for the pies or wait and see if they could be made still as they were running lowā€.

I’m sorry but if your restaurant runs out of soup and pretty much all breads by 1:45pm on a busy day that’s known to be busy then they need to stop adding more locations and make sure that your current locations are covered.

Also my advice to management is if on days like today your kitchen staff is messing up what seemed to me like every order that went in because they were overwhelmed than they should stop taking orders until the orders they were dealing with were...

I can live with not so fresh bagel( we were there today, sunday)...I can live with not very hot espresso drinks(latte and cappuccino)... however, bad customer service does not sit well with me, so I must give 3 stars today. Arrogant young lady at the counter, the way she tells you to look at the menu to figure out what they have that's not displayed, which you need a magnifying glass for to read. As she stands back with arms folded. We place the order.Asks me for my name, now, my name is kind of unusual, or rare to be fair. She doesn't ask me how to spell it, so she writes it as something else that sounds similar apparantly. We sit down, and another staff member is walking around calling out " Ronda, Ronda" Finally, after no one was claiming it, i said "Renata"? How ever the bagel was the wrong kind, so both of them give me the " face", why? because i wasn't responding to wrong name being called? Or because the bagel was wrong?then she calls out " Ronda " for our coffee drinks. I thanked her however she didn't even look up and grumbled something under her breath. As I sat and watched how they service customers, few orders were not taken correctly, or people not taken care of properly. For the prices they charge, the experience was not worth it, certainly not...

I placed a large order with Paris Bakery in Teaneck and clearly noted my severe avocado allergy. Despite this, they added avocado to a dish that doesn’t even list avocado as an ingredient or option. This wasn’t a small mistake—it was a serious health risk. When I called to explain what happened, I was shocked by the lack of concern. All they offered was a pastry if I went out of my way to pick it up. No real apology, no accountability, and no effort to make it right. This is completely unacceptable. Food allergies are not a joke, and any food business should take them seriously. I expected much better from a place that claims to value its customers.

we LOVE the coffee and their baked goods, especially their Tiramisu Swirl, BUTTTT guys, be prepared to see crumbs on the couches, dirty floors, dirty rugs. It’s not a very clean place. My partner and I were shocked to see the amount of dirt accumulated on the floor by the counter and also how dirty their couches are … it’s unfortunate. Hopefully they use this as a positive note for very quick improvement. We also love Ari and their staff is so kind and friendly. We will continue coming back for their delicious products.
