Brownie's House of Pizza — Restaurant in Tecumseh

I live in Tecumseh so I want to love this place. But I cannot. The pizza is far from good. Anyone who loves it needs to venture outside of Tecumseh for pizza. I tried it several times, each time hoping for a better experience.

The taco pizza is by far the worst taco pizza I have ever had in my life. Here is their recipe: 1/2 tsp ground beef (good luck finding much meat!), 10 ib of pinto beans (we not talking refried beans, we talking whole pinto beans!), and the other stuff. Imagine ordering a pizza with pinto beans. And the crust is just horrible -- cracker dry. Oh, and here is their recipe for hot salsa: 4 oz water, 4 oz hot sauce, 1 tiny slice tomato. The mild salsa was decent. The hot salsa was so bad it had to be an impromptu because they ran out.

The BBQ chicken pizza was decent, but I did not get to each much of it before finding a giant hair cooked into it.

So their food is horrible. They are not clean. And their prices are ridiculous. They charge $21 for their taco pizza.

You must have to know the owners or its staff to say you like this place.

Ordered “famous” taco pizza and had really high hopes it would be like the former Brownies Taco Pizza. When I arrived to pick up I was greeted by two really polite, nice young men obviously working hard in their families restaurant. I really think it’s great that these kids are taught to work hard and earn their own way, and I truly respect those values. I wanted to like the food so I could return, but the taco pizza was horrendous! We spent 60 in total for a large pizza that after one bite went in trash, “breadsticks” that were actually cheese sticks that fit in a tiny appetizer container, and a burger with onion rings. Really disappointed in the quality of the food. Total waste of my hard earned money and I will not return. Hopefully these kids will be taught that when you serve lousy food you lose business.

I'm all about local businesses and this is the 3rd time I've visited this place. The 1st time my mom and I had cheeseburgers and they were very good, although later that evening we both were sick I'm not sure if it was from that? 2nd time we ate at this establishment it was good and we had the taco pizza. My 2 boys and I went there for lunch on this last ever visit and had ordered a large 2 topping pizza (pepperoni and extra cheese on half and bacon and ham on half) and when a $32 check came out for a 2 topping pizza and 3 drinks came out I was surprised. Apparently its policy to charge full price of toppings for half of pizza as well as double charge on top of the for extra cheese (on half). So basically I had to pay for a 5 topping pizza that is decent but not at all anything to brag about, I see why the parking lot is empty most the times when I drive through Tecumseh. Good luck to the Brown family, it wouldn't hurt to list your "policy"...
