To be completely honest... you're paying for the atmosphere/location more than the food and service. Food: I got the burger which was ok not AMAZING. It was so big you can't bite it which defeats the purpose of burgers in my opinion... first time I ate a burger with a knife and fork which is pretty lame to me. The meat itself was like a steak between 2 buns. Maybe because it was aged beef or something but I'm not a fan. My sister got the salmon which she loved. She got it medium done so I recommend that. My cousin got the pesto macaroni which she didn't like and we tried it too and wasn't too good. The server was nice enough to take it off our tab since she didn't eat it. Service: The server was very chill and nice. That wasn't the problem... we saw him a few times so we weren't attended well which I'm not picky but we got our foods at different times so some were eating before others so it defeats the purpose of eating together. The food was delivered about 7 minutes apart each so I'm sure you can imagine the first to get the food was cold by the time the last got theirs. One plate that we got we were warned that it was hot but when we took the plate the food was cold. I tried to ask another server who was only delivering us the food if she can warm it up or get another and she told us to ask our main server... we didn't see him for over 20 minutes after that. My cousin just ate it because she was hungry and we didn't complain because we aren't confrontational. I would try a different place if I was in the area again. Maybe it was my experience and they were busy but then that's on the owner and them needing to manage their employees better. More staff or more attentiveness. I don't know but other than that it was ok.

Update review-We loved this winery before and came here one time and had a great time. But this time, I felt a little different and disappointed. since I was breastfeeding, so I couldn’t enjoy the wine, my husband and my mom enjoyed a bottle which was pretty nice. But food is not as good as I remember. The only thing is good is the cheese stuffed mushrooms. The flatbread and burger are so so and over priced. I don’t think they are worth the price, even though the view is nice, but it’s a little too much. Also our waitress is very casual, making me feel I was in a diner. We were there on my birthday, but they didn’t offer anything, and told me no birthday dessert. Maybe this place is too popular to care about those sweet gestures. Previous review- What a beautiful day at south Cali's wine country, Temecula. We are recommended by Miramonte's club member to taste this winery's wines. The view is mazing, the food is amazing, the wines, of course, so good. If you are like me, love sangria, I highly highly recommend their white / red sangria, both are amazing. It's great for a summer brunch drink, refreshing and delicious. We ordered a charcuterie board, I have to say, this is probably the best one in my life. I'm not a French bread lover, but their bread made me totally finish it, so soft inside and crunchy outside. I also love the stuffed mushrooms, yummy! Only thing is that this place is super busy, we made reservations two weeks earlier, and the table services are pretty slow as well. But overall, I'll come back one day.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience Despite a Beautiful Setting

I had one of the most interesting weekends winery hopping with friends, and for the most part, every stop was a uniquely positive experience, until we arrived to mira monte

After waiting over an hour to be seated (which we didn’t mind at first due to how busy it was), we walked around with a bottle of wine and glasses, and unintentionally entered the member lounge. There was an empty table, so we sat to enjoy the wine while waiting. The bartender approached and asked if we were members, we replied honestly that we weren’t, and she asked us to leave. That part is understandable, but it was her cold, unwelcoming demeanor

I tried to make the most of it and asked if she could tell us about becoming members. Her demeanor instantly changed, becoming far more professional and polished, which made me wonder why her approach hadn’t started that way. If her initial tone had been more informative and less dismissive, we might have considered a membership. Unfortunately, no tasting was offered, no incentive to join, just a transactional interaction that left a sour impression. She stated she knew we were members because of her the glasses we carried. Her interaction was trash!

After we decided not to pursue membership, we checked back in with the hostess, having now waited 1.5 hours. Once seated, it had gotten cold, so I asked the hostess if there were heaters available. She said to check with our waitress, who kindly said she’d look into it. She did speak to a manager, and heaters started being brought out, but placed at other tables, including empty ones.

Our waitress went above and beyond to help, even rolling the umbrellas at our table to avoid delays, as the sun had set and everyone in our party was clearly cold. I personally asked the manager if he could place a heater near us. He refused, citing “strategic and safety concerns” specifically, not placing heaters next to umbrellas. I pointed out that the umbrella at our table was already closed and another table next to us had an open umbrella, which contradicted his explanation. I also noted that the table beside us (where he placed a heater) was about to be vacated. It was frustrating to be bypassed while trying to calmly explain our situation. His managers attitude and lack of professionalism was the iceberg of trash services.

Rather than listen or help resolve a simple issue, the manager doubled down with an unhelpful and dismissive attitude. What could’ve been a minor fix turned into a spectacle, and we left feeling unwelcome and genuinely disappointed.

This winery has a lovely setting and potential, but after the way both the bartender and manager handled basic customer service, we won’t be returning. Hospitality should never feel like an inconvenience to staff, especially in a place where people come to relax and...

My family and I were so excited to celebrate my sisters birthday at Mira Monte Winery. We are all club members so we were stocked to pick up our bottles and redeem our tastings while enjoying a birthday lunch. Collectively we spent hundreds of dollars at lunch that unfortunately ended on a sour note. I gifted my sister a very expensive beautiful balloon bouquet that was sitting by our table during our visit. Towards the end on our lunch an employee (I believe he is the bus boy, young gentleman with long blonde hair sporting a halfway pony tail) ran into the arrangement while holding a pen and popped the most expensive balloon of the entire arrangement. My sister approached him and told him about what we saw and he proceeded to deny having a pen and popping the balloon with it. Our server Molly H said she couldn’t do much but only offer a free glass of wine (which we get anyways with our membership) so the birthday girl said she was ok and didn’t want it. I asked an employee (Trevor) for the manager and he said he was in the office and could get him for me. A young girl (blonde wearing her hair up in a pony tail, who I believe was maybe a server, standing behind Trevor) said very upset “but it was an accident” and shook her head then I said “wether it was an accident or not, I paid for it and now I need to go spend more money to replace it”. She continued to shake her head as she made her way to the office to get the manager but first made a stop to speak to the young guy that popped the balloon and our server Molly. After waiting for quite a while Luis, the manger, finally showed up. Not only did he have a sort of arrogant demeanor he did absolutely nothing to try to save us as customers. He even mentioned that there was no way of him telling what really happened so he had to be fair and listen to both sides of the story and proceeded to give us the cancellation of membership steps we could follow to cancel our Mira Monte membership. I would’ve been happy with an apology but they couldn’t even give us that. I left a note for Luis with my contact information saying “I will give you an opportunity to review the footage and figure out what really happened here is my contact information”. I will wait for Luis to review the footage and get back to me, I will update this review if he ever does. I promise that something as simple as an apology would’ve gone a long way. We left extremely frustrated and disappointed. They definitely lost us...
