Manager in trouble? Free combo? Keep your receipts.
When management plays babysitter there's nothing a client can do but to play their game.
This morning it happens yet again. I went through the drive through asking for a simple combo with Coke and, you guessed right, a completely careless or untrained or simply incompetent employee guets the order wrong. What's so hard about "combo number 11 with a Coke" to understand? I got charged for a burger and a soda, no combo, no fries same price.
I had to correct that employee, ask again for the combo so they change the order and my receipt and gave me the bag with "everything" as they say, but, you guessed right again, they get the order wrong again. Even though this time they got the ticket right, yet I trusted that the whole order was on the bag, took it and went home.
I had to go all the way back from home to get all things I asked in the first place. Until then, after driving all the way back, after having to proof that I bought my meal with my receipt because the worker that got my order "mysteriously" had finished its shift 3 minutes right before I arrived at 3:03 am, and wasn't there any more (obviously lying). Then I got the manager my ticket and asked for my combo the way I wanted it.
It seems that no matter how many times you go there, even with a simple request, you should expect to get your order wrong, check your bag, correct them, and get it wrong again, and check your bag again, otherwise be ready to waste plenty...

One girl with short poofy dyed hair, glasses, and a brown skinny boy. They kept rushing us to take our order. The male interrupted and told us "Thank you come again" before we had a chance to even order. They kept asking us if we were ready every 30 secs even though we said multiple times we needed time to discuss and gather our orders. They mentioned something about having a time limit to order which I have never heard of being a thing! They gave a lot of attitude and kept snickering the whole time. Mind you, we were the ONLY ONES in line which made no sense as to why they were rushing us. This was the worst experience I've had at this location. They both need to be fired. Read moreI live and work next door to this establishment. I work late hours. I work in the service industry and have been by over the past few months after midnight to order. They’ve always had a sign saying closed due to short staff. Today I drive up and get in line, it’s late, just before 3am, however there are cars being served. As I am about to pull up an employee walks up outside my vantage point to change a sign…being that it’s so late/early the menu could be changing. He sees cars behind the person he literally puts the sign up in front of while they’re ordering and says nothing to anyone that’s waiting. My turn is next. The sign reads “drivethru closed due to short staff”. Not sure if it’s a staff/management/owner/or franchise problem , but I sure as hell know I’m in the heart of Tempe and if this Jack n the Box can’t live up to their commercials then why would anyone else have any...
