Zesty Zzeeks Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Tempe

I asked for the sugar drinks to be bagged, and all the clerk said was, “That is what you get!”

I will not buy here until they develop some healthy respect for their customer :-(....

They serve pizza and Eeggees ice drinks but unfortunately with a bad attitude, and my experience was unacceptable.

Clerk pushed my hot food package and 2 dripping icy sugar drinks in flimsy styrofoam cups across the counter to me. I asked politely for him to package them for delivery in my car [since I did not want to juggle them with the food package and spill one in my gear shift assembly again].

I think customers should expect drinks to be in a cup holder and a bag. After all, a caterer would never accept them loose without charging a premium and packing them, themselves, and neither would UPS, FedEx, or USPS accept drinks stacked on top of the properly prepared boxes for delivery. And sometimes 1, 2, 3, or more drinks are very hard to juggle with other packages and get them in and out of your car without breaking or spilling.

I visited Tempe on a work trip and wanted to try some local food. I was in the mood for pizza, and Zzeeks was recommended. I called, explained that I'm from out of town, and asked if in-person, pickup, or delivery was the best for quality and experience. The person on the phone, David, said that all three would provide a great experience and stated that I should do delivery since I'm visiting. So, I ordered a beef and mushroom pizza and dessert for delivery (9:23p on 6/4/24). It arrived quickly and the delivery person was very kind. I didn't catch her name, unfortunately. The pizza and dessert arrived piping hot and full of flavor. This pizza is a great anytime pizza and is delicious! It's definitely an American style pizza, which isn't a bad thing. I just wanted to clarify for anyone looking for a more Scicilian style. It has a thinner crust, which has a cripsy bottom and chewy interior. It has a standard mozzarella cheeze that is generous. First and last time ordering from Zzeeks. They called 20 minutes after placing our order to say they were out of canolis and what did we want to replace it with. I said the zeppolis, heard the manager in the background saying no, that there was a 3 dollar price difference. I offered to pay the difference but they needed my credit card again and as it was not convient for me to get it i said give me something equal. I could hear the manager complaing in the background the whole time. Felt sorry for the employee having to repeat the unsatisfactory words of the manager. The 60.40 we spent on below average two 12 inch pizzas and 3 tiramisu was a rip-off and the food was luke warm at best and we are 2 blocks away

Response to the manager post, no thanks. I would rather pay for good pizza than to eat yours again for free. Your employees had several chances to correct the situation and choose not too. Train them better or hire better. Customer service is everything, exspcially in today's...
